It is a personalized experience from the minute you walk into the store. I found the most fantastic dress for my daughter's wedding. My daughter was blown away by it. My sister, who is hard to fit, found a fabulous gown for the wedding. Their attention to detail is amazing. My dress did not come with a shawl. They ordered extra fabric and made a shawl for me. Everyone at the wedding loved what I was wearing. They carry items that are classy and elegant and funky items for the younger set. Whether you need a short dress, gown, dress for a sweet sixteen, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah - this is the place to go. You can even purchase an evening bag, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. It's sad that the service isn't that great at all . The managers in the store are excellent, but human resources needs to do a better job. You will expect certain things still though, like floor employees being more interested in chatter with eachother. And good lord it is still hot like a sauna (but the whole mall is sweltering). I was sent from a different store to get a new jacket that they had not had in stock. I found the item easily, but the size was a bit more elusive. Knowing Kings Plaza, you have to look around and look behind things to find what it is you want especially when you wear a popular size. People hide them every single time! Less than 15 minutes later, found the right size/color, tried it on, purchased and was out the door. Special thanks to the cashiers and the manager. Happy Holidays!

It wasn't closing time at all yet so I didn't understand why he sent half of us away when there were only 5 people waiting to be checked out. The guys in front of me walked downstairs too but ended up leaving because the line on the first floor was twice the length. Male cashier working second floor was rude in the way he sent the line away. Gave us no reason as to why "some of us needed to go downstairs to pay" and made me want to drop the stuff I had picked out and just walk out, much like the two guys that were in front of me in the first queue. The cashiers on the first floor were kind of dead in the way of energy but nicer. Really don't think I'll be coming back in person to shop at H&M. I'd much rather order online if the staff here can't be bothered to hide their disdain for customers. I don't like being picky about my retail shopping experience because I used to work customer service too, but I would've gotten reprimanded for talking the way he did to customers. Where's the fake pleasant customer service voice? We don't do that anymore? Go to a different H&M or buy online. Or avoid the second floor entirely.

The best part is the clearance section which is always 40% off, even when other stores don't have that offer. When all the others stores do have their 50% sale items markdown, then this store matches it. There is usually a great deal of clothes squashed together on 3 walls in the back, but I ain't complaining. Got some killer deals here. If you are lucky, there will be a large amount of choices if you come on a day before it is all picked over. The Queens Center Guess has more clothing choices, but their sale section can't compare. The Soho store barely has a sale section, with all the deep pockets walking through the doors though, what would they need one for? ;)
