The inn keepers and owners are top notch. There are very thoughtful amenities such as, an alcoholic drink of the day, snacks, freshly baked cookies and a tea/coffee/hot chocolate station set up throughout the day. Breakfast is a rotating selection made to order daily, and boy are you in for a treat. The Maine Blueberry Pancakes and the French Toast are my favorites. It's a good location, just down from the well known Ogunquit Lobster Pound Restaurant. I especially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor pool area. The staff would come around regularly with freshly baked scones or cookies while guests were in the spa. The place is kept very clean. Staff were always doing everything that they could to help make the stay enjoyable. Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Gazebo Inn. I will be back! I hope your family enjoys the experience as much as mine did.

Home away from home! Voted one of the best Bed and Breakfast in the country! If you stay there, you will find out why! Cozy, salt water pool, huge beautiful hot tub, savory breakfast personally cooked by Scott and Peter! Every morning a different delicious and hearty meal! No need to eat lunch! Oh I cannot forget their homemade scones! Make sure to take a few for an afternoon snack! All the rooms are beautifully decorated and clean clean clean! We enjoy the Barn Suites, which are decorated so beautifully with those most amazing king size bed and comfortable pillow and sheets! (So comfortable that we looked on the label to find out where they are made so we could buy our own) The steam shower is huge and big enough for two! The jacuzzi bathtub is very large as well.. No need to worry about COVID here! The owners Scott and Bruce are on it and are taking all the necessary Covid precautions to keep everyone safe and clean! At night, the Barn lobby is big enough to enjoy for a card game or simply just lounging out in a nice soft comfortable chair or couch! Although the Inn is a long walking distance to the center of town, there is a trolley stop in front that will take you to town or beach! This B&B keeps us coming back to the beautiful place by the sea! Everything you need and very accommodating in every way! They offer wedding and weekend packages! Open all year round! Winter is cozy with the roaring fire on the lobby and in your own room as well.. I can go on and on but my review will be too long! Just go and book a room today! They fill up fast! Ogunquit Maine!

I don't even think I can begin to explain how much my husband and I loved staying at the Gazebo Inn. It was easily the best place I have ever stayed at! When we booked the reservation we scored the last room that was available and after looking at a few other weeks it looks like we are not alone, it was pretty much booked solid with just a few random open days. Totally understandable why it is booked up, what an amazing place! We were laughing when we booked our room in Barn Suite 2 saying we were probably the only folks in the world that were super excited to be sleeping in a barn! LOL, it was NOTHING like we were expecting, it didn't look like a renovated barn at all, it was stunning! The decorating was flawless, country, kitschy, cute; the bed was huge, confortable sheets, and it really high off the ground; the fireplace was built into the wall and you could either sit on the couch watching the fire or hang out in the huge hot tub in the bathroom with the fireplace on next to you; the shower was huge, it took up an entire wall and had four jets; and there was a kitchenette (dishes, silverware, cups, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink) and there was a flat screen TV. Oh and the room was easily bigger than some apartments I have lived in. The grounds of the b&b are pretty cool too. There is a really nice garden next to the big gazebo in the front when you first pull up. The main building has a kitchen, a dining room, and an area where you can get DVDs and VHS tapes to watch in your room along with menus and pamphlets for stuff to check out while you are in the area. There is also a small gym in that building also. There is also a back patio area close to the pool and outside hot tub. Inside the 'barn' there is a bar area where they have complimentary mixers for you to make drinks with, along with a comfortable sitting area near the bar which was nice. Heading upstairs there are five barn suites and then another floor that is an office/study area along with a great ocean view. The entire b&b has free wireless which was nice and it was a fast connection too. I highly recommend the Gazebo, I loved it so much. It was quiet and romantic and walking distance to everything and just an overall amazing experience. http://www.gazeboinnogt.com/ We loved how you could walk across the street and down the road a bit to the footbridge path which brings you right over to the beach/ocean. Very cool. My one complaint and it is a small one was that the breakfast was rather underwhelming. I was really not that impressed with it but whatever everything else was amazing. Check out my photos.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Ogunquit! From the saltwater pool and HUGE hot tub, to the amazing homemade breakfasts (the scones are to die for) - everything is spot on. Scott, Bruce and Peter have made such a lovely homey feeling Inn - and it shows everywhere! All the staff are amazing, and the rooms are fabulous. Book the Barn 2 Suite to experience the best shower/steam room experience ever. Can't wait to come back!

This was our 4th trip to southern Maine(we live in Des Moines Iowa) and each time we have stayed somewhere different. That is until we came to The Gazebo Inn in Ogunquit,Me. What a fabulous place!! There are 14 rooms here and it is geared for an adults-only crowd. The rooms are lovely. The Inn itself was resurrected from an old barn and chicken coop and it has been lovingly and elegantly restored by owner/Innkeeper Scott. Beautiful common areas, library with ocean view, pool, large hot tub and included hot( delicious!!) breakfast every morning. The staff here are extremely polite and helpful. Every concern or need is graciously taken care of. Scott gave us great suggestions for restaurants, activities, beaches and parking. We try to get to southern Maine twice a year and from now on we will be staying at The Gazebo Inn- we've found our vacation home!

Scott and the manager, Peter had this place running like a finely tuned car. The suites are outstanding, clean and with many amenities which make it perfect for every guest. The beach is a short walk or you can enjoy a local trolley. The mining breakfast was outstanding! Remember to buy the scones. They are super delicious. Don't forget your bathing suite. The pool is cool, but the hot tub is hotter! Hang out and chat with your friends. A must see!

When we arrived, I immediately partook in a warm homemade oatmeal raisin cookie and a hot cup of coffee offered in the lobby area, and my SIL & I sunk into the comfy leather couches to rest our feet. Wow- that really hit the spot after walking around Perkins Cove all afternoon! Our room was perfect. Beautiful views and the most comfortable bed (with the most luxurious sheets, btw!). The room came equipped with our own Keurig and fridge (with bottled waters) and Lindt chocolates, yum! Love the sliding pocket door leading to our bathroom and the cozy decor of the entire room. The Covid prevention at the inn was A+ excellent. Hand sanitizers everywhere and the entire inn was spotless clean. And even though we all wore masks, it was easy to see everyone who greeted us was smiling, especially Bruce! Extremely warm & friendly environment. I really LOVED breakfast and appreciated the ordering process: wipe-away mini menus where we checked off what we wanted to order. Brilliant! By the way- possibly the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life! Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend! However, if you're like me, and you want a full vacation experience and hotel with a lobby and some amenities, with a pool, private balcony, a room with a beach view, and a fun experience hanging out in the room on a rainy day, or relaxing at night with wine and cheese, just know this is a simple little place and not all rooms are spacious and have views - you will have to make sure you reserve one of the larger rooms with a view. And the hotel is all about location, not frills. We made our plans late and got a garden level room, which was clean and had a comfortable bed, but, well, it's a garden level room with no view, facing a parking lot, with ultra low ceilings and was kind of cramped. Still, it had a nicely redone newer bathroom and shower, a functional air conditioner and it was convenient that there was a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven (for slices) and a sink for dishes etc so you don't have to fill up your coffee maker with water from the bathroom sink lol! We got lucky and had beautiful beach weather for every day of our stay so we just used the room to shower and sleep and spent time at the beach, walking Marginal Way, exploring Perkins Cove, shopping, trying different restaurants and having ice cream at night on one of the many public benches for people watching. This hotel does have a pretty lawn with some tables and chairs for all guests to use and that was nice in the morning with coffee. But if you reserve and get a garden level room, I wouldn't recommend that in the off season, or if you are unlucky and get rainy weather.

The historical aspect of the Inn appealed to us (so many cool nooks, crannies, closets, wide planked floors, giant fireplaces, paintings, & more), Claudine, the Inn's manager, is welcoming, fun, funny, engaging, open, & chatty. Our room, the Duchess Ann Suite was a bit challenged by the 3 of us since we needed one bed more, so we were given permission to squeeze in an air bed that made it perfect. Although facing the VERY busy main road leading into & out of town, we did not hear any of the traffic, nor parades of people due to the A/C units. The front gardens are chock-filled with beautiful flowers, & sweet touches such as a bubbling fountain, moss covered structures, & stone pathways leading everywhere. Breakfast was also perfect, especially because we were able to sit outside on the front porch while sipping our coffee, enjoying our yogurt, breads, cereals, juice & more. We could not have asked for a better experience, a better location, a better welcoming & a better 3 sisters' annual get together.

It was a very expensive reservation over the holiday weekend. The same day I received an email from the hotel stating they charged a 50% "deposit" to hold the room - never mentioned beforehand. When I reached out to ask for a refund of my deposit, I was told to cancel the reservation to receive the deposit back. Ok. I was treated very poorly during the cancellation process by whoever was writing the (unsigned) emails: they wrote I "misunderstood", "obviously", and that I was a "Karen"! ("Karen is a pejorative slang term for an obnoxious, angry, entitled, and often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people's behaviors.") Whoever is writing the emails for the company needs some customer service training - hopefully it's not the owner(s): John J and Dwain U are the new owners of the Inn as of September 18, 2013

The owners, George and Cathy Wilson, are phenomenal, interesting, salt-of-the-earth people, and they are excellent inn keepers. Their home is as unique in style and decor as it is functional, lending itself to days spent poolside with a book surrounded by acres of wildflowers and trees. A full breakfast is served each morning and it is exceptional. Each room has its own unique amenity: one has a gazebo, two have private screened-in porches, one has a garden entrance, others have fireplaces, etc. There is one suite, three other rooms and also a full apartment. The central air conditioning is a gift from heaven on hot summer days and the pool is amazing - so much more than just the standard cement hole-in-the-ground filled with water. Personal touches abound and it seems that everywhere one looks there is a unique piece of artwork or furniture or sculpture or planting that compliments the whole without being gaudy in the least. Having frequented Ogunquit for ten years, I do not know why I never knew about Beauport before - perhaps because it's a 15 minute walk from the center of town and I just never stumbled upon it until this past weekend.
