We especially loved the large salt water hot tub and mid-day snacks (mixed nuts and large chocolate chip cookies - which were delicious). They also offer a mixed drink and wine at the self serve bar during the day. We stayed in the King 7 room and it was spacious. We loved the rain shower head. I also highly recommend the chocolate sampler box add on! We had the chocolate and champagne available at check in which was a nice touch. The hot tub was often quiet around 8pm and made for the perfect end of evening activity. They have an ample selection of towels and robes by the pool that are available to use. We also enjoyed a couples massage offered by the inn. Breakfast was very yummy! Each day there is a large selection of options you can pick and choose from. They had the breakfast offering for the day displayed and then you check off what you want with a marker on a short form. The inn is about a 10 minute walk from Footbridge beach, which was awesome. Overall I would recommend for any weekend getaway or celebration!

The room came equipped with our own Keurig and fridge (with bottled waters) and Lindt chocolates, yum! Love the sliding pocket door leading to our bathroom and the cozy decor of the entire room. The Covid prevention at the inn was A+ excellent. Hand sanitizers everywhere and the entire inn was spotless clean. And even though we all wore masks, it was easy to see everyone who greeted us was smiling, especially Bruce! Extremely warm & friendly environment. I really LOVED breakfast and appreciated the ordering process: wipe-away mini menus where we checked off what we wanted to order. Brilliant! By the way- possibly the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life! Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend! Dining establishments, shops, village grocery, candy, ice cream shop, Perkins Cove, Marginal Highway Trail and Ogunquit Beach were all in walking distance. The room was provided with luxurious pillows, bedsheets, plush towels, robes and toiletries. The fridge was stocked with bottled spring water. The furniture were well kept and very modern. The bed was very comfortable. It had a decent-sized flat screen tv and cable. The WiFi signal was strong which was an advantage as a backup to cellular signal. Beach towels, umbrellas and carry-on rollers were available if you decide to venture into the nearby walkable beaches.  I'm not much of a beach person, and spent most of the time by the pools. Large pool towels were provided and shatter-free glasses were accessible thru the cupboard if you want to bring your drinks to the pool. Since Covid-19 and social distancing protocols were still in place, he served daily breakfast in a carefully curated and lovely picnic basket that included rotating menu of eggs, toast, fruits, yogurt, an offer of unlimited coffee, teas and juices. He meticulously prepared them in the fully stocked kitchen every morning. A Keurig machine along with a variety of flavored coffees, hot cocoa and teas were also present as well as filtered hot/cold water machine by the office. The best part of the room was that it had a balcony albeit being on the smaller side. I hung out there almost every morning drinking coffee and having wine during the afternoons. It was quiet and away from the street that often gets noisy from other travelers passing by.  Perhaps next time I'd be able stay longer -- and spend more time at the more spacious King Suite -- if it's available at the time of booking.

However, if you're like me, and you want a full vacation experience and hotel with a lobby and some amenities, with a pool, private balcony, a room with a beach view, and a fun experience hanging out in the room on a rainy day, or relaxing at night with wine and cheese, just know this is a simple little place and not all rooms are spacious and have views - you will have to make sure you reserve one of the larger rooms with a view. And the hotel is all about location, not frills. We made our plans late and got a garden level room, which was clean and had a comfortable bed, but, well, it's a garden level room with no view, facing a parking lot, with ultra low ceilings and was kind of cramped. Still, it had a nicely redone newer bathroom and shower, a functional air conditioner and it was convenient that there was a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven (for slices) and a sink for dishes etc so you don't have to fill up your coffee maker with water from the bathroom sink lol! We got lucky and had beautiful beach weather for every day of our stay so we just used the room to shower and sleep and spent time at the beach, walking Marginal Way, exploring Perkins Cove, shopping, trying different restaurants and having ice cream at night on one of the many public benches for people watching. This hotel does have a pretty lawn with some tables and chairs for all guests to use and that was nice in the morning with coffee. But if you reserve and get a garden level room, I wouldn't recommend that in the off season, or if you are unlucky and get rainy weather.

There was a little sign just indicating to call if no one was around. He showed up quickly and got us settled in to our room. Small little bathroom was perfect for the two of us and there was a small fridge and AC in the room already which is perfect. It was cooler during our stay so we just kept the ceiling fan going. There is also a larger fridge for guest use in the main house as well as coffee/tea available around the clock. The Inn is about a 5 minute walk from the center of town and despite being on Rt 1 (main road through town) wasn't overly loud or chaotic. They have a little porch on the front where we ate a DELICIOUS breakfast each day. Breakfast options included a starter (we had broiled grapefruit, fresh strawberries with homemade whip cream, and a delicious cherry bread pudding), there was an option of a sweet or savory entree (pancakes and french toast, quiche and scrambles with amazing homefries), a choice of bacon or sausage, and then juice or milk as alternatives to the coffee/tea option. All cooked by Duane and Claudine who are literally the sweetest humans and hosts. They also are interactive during the day and Duane often was found tending the gardens throughout the day. Overall I am thrilled by our stay and will certainly go back next time we head North for a weekend away. I can't speak highly enough about this bed & breakfast and the comfortability, service, and welcoming we received. Obviously we were there during the "in season" and so the rates were high but not outrageous in comparison to other locations and what you got.

The historical aspect of the Inn appealed to us (so many cool nooks, crannies, closets, wide planked floors, giant fireplaces, paintings, & more), Claudine, the Inn's manager, is welcoming, fun, funny, engaging, open, & chatty. Our room, the Duchess Ann Suite was a bit challenged by the 3 of us since we needed one bed more, so we were given permission to squeeze in an air bed that made it perfect. Although facing the VERY busy main road leading into & out of town, we did not hear any of the traffic, nor parades of people due to the A/C units. The front gardens are chock-filled with beautiful flowers, & sweet touches such as a bubbling fountain, moss covered structures, & stone pathways leading everywhere. The owners, George and Cathy Wilson, are phenomenal, interesting, salt-of-the-earth people, and they are excellent inn keepers. A full breakfast is served each morning and it is exceptional. Each room has its own unique amenity: one has a gazebo, two have private screened-in porches, one has a garden entrance, others have fireplaces, etc. There is one suite, three other rooms and also a full apartment. The central air conditioning is a gift from heaven on hot summer days and the pool is amazing - so much more than just the standard cement hole-in-the-ground filled with water. Personal touches abound and it seems that everywhere one looks there is a unique piece of artwork or furniture or sculpture or planting that compliments the whole without being gaudy in the least. Having frequented Ogunquit for ten years, I do not know why I never knew about Beauport before - perhaps because it's a 15 minute walk from the center of town and I just never stumbled upon it until this past weekend.
