When I walked in I immediately loved the feel of a "mom and pop" owned shop. The two older gentleman were extremely nice and helpful. Even though one was busy with another customer, as I walked in he asked, "How can I help you dear?" I told him what I was looking for and another nice gentleman went and got it for me. Last year I got a beautiful bush for 1/3 off, just by asking if they had ANY specials at the end of the year. The woman in the gardening department actually said, I could let this one go a little cheaper as long as I know it is going to a good home. She feels about her plants the way I do! And lastly, in the country, you have to deal with mice. It is a necessary evil of the joy of the mountains. I was directed to a device that kills the mice by one of the ladies inside. They're mice, so killing them is fine with me as long as I don't see their feces on my counter top and in my food anymore. She even knew what she was talking about with that.
