It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We were able to book online with no issues and were given clear instructions on when to arrive and where to park. We were checked in immediately upon arrival and had a nice bench in the shade to sit and wait for our boat to come back with the other guests. They also rent jet skis and seem to be a company that has several names along John's Pass. The price was reasonable and you can find discounts in some of the travel magazines. They also offer an early bird discount as well. We went out with two other parties and the captain and his assistant made us feel comfortable from the start. This was our first time and I just happen to be petrified of heights. Once it was our turn we were buckled in and off we went to a height that seemed a lot farther than it looked from the boat. The ride was smooth, the view was immaculate and the weather was perfect. I highly recommend this activity at least once in your lifetime.

They explained everything thoroughly and made it very fun. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is wanting a great experience!

Such a fun time. Bryce and Will were both super friendly, hard-working, and enjoyable. They are great at answering questions and ensuring you have a good time. The trip itself is very fun with a gorgeous view of Tampa. Perfect for both thrill seekers and those who want to relax a little (in the air itself is very calm). They will also dip you into the water on your flight if you ask (highly recommend). For $25 extra you can buy a photo packet with is around 15 photos on an SD card they take of you in the air. You can also bring up your phone to take photos as well. Gators Parasailing also partners with a jet ski company nearby where you can get a discount if you do both. This was an amazing experience. Starting with the reservation process with Andy, everyone was knowledgeable, helpful and nice. We flew at 9:30 on a Thursday and the weather was perfect. Brice and Zach were the Captains and they made it such a great experience. They gave clear instructions, told us what to expect, and made sure we had a great time. I felt very safe with their guidance. Very glad we chose this company to work with. The Boardwalk Grill upstairs from this place gave us t recommendation. Go there for a bite while you're in the area!

Wasn't especially a great day for it , thought we wouldn't get it in but Gators called us and held us off for a bit till wind died down and called us as soon as we could go. Even checked winds before grandma went up. Very family oriented and took extra time and care of elderly mom. Thank you again!

Took my husband parasailing for his 60th birthday. He was surprised and had a great time. The crew Andy, Kelsey and Billy were fantastic. We went out with a few other groups, so there 12 of us on the boat (9 flyers and 3 spectators). Groups were 2 or 3 people and they were in the air for 10+ minutes and they were able to see dolphins, Sea turtles and manarays. Next time I'm definitely going up. Highly recommend Gator Parasail.

We were able to book last minute. These guys know what they're doing! It was our first time parasailing. You guys made it easy to be calm, knew what you were talking about and definitely made me feel more comfortable doing this lol. This was our second year parasailing through this company and we will continue to come back every year. The staff is always so pleasant and funny. Nothing but fantastic things to say about our parasailing trip with this company! An hour out on the boat and a great flight under the chute. We even got lucky and saw two sea turtles and a shark while we were in the air. We didn't have anyone extra with us to take pictures and paid the extra $24 for them to do it for us and we are glad we did. Matt and Brian were our crew - both very professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing. This is a must do while in Madeira beach or the surrounding area. read more

My son, girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Gators Parasail earlier this month. Our parasailing adventure included gentle and dry takeoffs and landings, a quick dip in the water, and we spotted a turtle, several schools of dolphin, and a shark. This was my son's (all of ours, for that matter) first experience, and he loved it...we all loved it. It was a very peaceful and calming experience. We are looking forward to going back for jet ski rentals! read more

Such a fantastic experience parasailing here!! It was easy to book online the day before we went, and we paid for the photos (which was totally worth the $25!). We had to wait a bit past our booked time, but the weather was storming on and off so they were working around it. They kept us informed the whole time about what was going on. Everyone is incredibly nice, well trained, and very professional. Our captain and other guide were really funny, and made everything very clear and easy to understand (even for my 7 year old who went with me) how it was all going to work. The experience itself was INCREDIBLE. It's so calm and relaxing up there. It was gorgeous, and we opted to get dunked at the end (the water had to be about 90° so it was great!). I can't wait to do it again, and if we are back in FL, we will be back to Gators. Thanks guys!!!! read more

First time parasailing at the beach and it was great! The crew on the boat was extrememly kind and encouraging. Super relaxing time in the air and was up there for just the right amount of time. Booking online could not make it any more simple! They give you a small discount if you book online to go parasailing before 11:30 am. Located at John's Pass where there are plenty of opportunities for both shopping and eating after your time parasailing. Would recommend this company to anyone! read more

2017 was our first sail with Gators. Crew was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel safe. Forward 2019.....Kelsey and Bryce (hope I spelled those right) were amazing! Bryce...quiet, attentive, keeping us safe on the water and in the air. Kelsey...outgoing, hysterical, keeping us relaxed and safe prior to our lift-off. I normally don't write reviews for companies but I felt that I had to. This was my first time going parasailing and didn't know which company to go through and I did a lot of price comparing online and ran across Gator's. The website was easy to navigate and user friendly. I didn't read the reviews but was all for it based on the price and photos. When you arrive there are many other companies you can go through but I noticed that Gator's was much busier than other companies so I was happy about that. When you arrive the staff treats you great. While on the boat the man was funny and kept everything fun. I have to say Gator's was amazing and I had a great safe time. Everything they did was safe and went smoothly. I am definitely going back and recommend as the staff was easy to work with and they knew exactly what they were doing. If you are looking for anywhere to parasail or jet ski, please check them out! read more

Such a fun experience! I took my Dad as a Christmas present and we had an amazing time. Zach and Captain Bryce were super personable and made the whole boat feel like a little mini family for an hour. This place was amazing. My mom, sister & I are in the area for vacation & wanted parasailing for the first time. My sister has a physical disability and they were extremely accommodating. We knew she would have trouble getting on & off the boat as her balance & left side are extremely weak. The staff went out of their way to help her & I am forever appreciative. The ride was a perfect length (another company came out & went back in the time we were out there!!) If there were a way to give more than 5 stars I would! My brothers and I were in Florida for the weekend due to less than ideal family circumstances. We decided to make the most of our weekend and go to the beach. Gator's took us right away. The prices were fair, the staff was awesome, and parasailing was so fun! The staff were quick to point out any dolphins in the water, and the views were amazing. Chris and Brian made the ride fun and made sure everyone had a good time, whether you were in the air or on the boat. They definitely helped make our time in Florida a great experience. read more

Top it off with a crew that smokes, one member gearing you up who smelled of alcohol and would lie down on the seats while the boat was moving, and it was not an event we would repeat. It should be noted we contacted the business to give them a chance to make this right. "Mike" pointed to weather and declined to do anything. Mike failed to note we waited 45+ minutes for a delayed trip, they turned the boat around while we were geared up to pick up 2 last minute participants, and that the next boat was to be filled with 6. Weather wasn't the key issue in this day--they were just busy and trying to make up time at the expense of our family. I wish we could mention great customer service or accommodations made for issues suffered. That just didn't happen for us. Meanwhile, we were well mannered and even tipped the Crew. But we will not return of course.

Absolutely incredible!!! We were the first group on the morning that Gators reopened since the covid19 lock downs. The place is so clean, so conveniently located and the staff SO friendly! They worked fast and efficiently to get us up early too,. We had Captain Billy and his crewmate Will who were awesome . They were so great talking to us and really funny, it was just such a fun experience. Any nervous first time flyers have to go to Gators! It was awesome to fly at those heights! We had smooth sailing and got to dip our feet in the water! It was like floating and the thrill of drifting off the boat up into the air is unbelievable!!! We were celebrating my college graduation and this was the best thing!!! I will absolutely do this again and I highly recommend Gators for the most awesome service and fun read more

Fantastic! Bryce and our captain (Mike?) were a pleasure- Andy, who worked at the dock was great too. Everyone was laid back and friendly. I was nervous and they took their time with me and were very professional. There was a 11 kid on our boat and she even loved the ride- I was impressed with them taking kids out, very family friendly and took their jobs seriously but still a lot of fun! The ride and take off was smooth. No complaints at all. Prices were similar to other places we called, $160 for two people and photo package (tax etc) for our first time and a special occasion I don't think that was too bad. This was an incredible experience! I went in a large group of 9; neither my boyfriend or me had ever been before. We were both terrified, him of heights and myself of sharks. Our instructors, Zach and Brian were awesome! They were very informative in giving instruction and making sure we understood all direction and the proper safety. Zach and Brian also made sure to be fun with it too and kept us laughing the entire time. They made this a wonderful experience for us and I will definitely be recommending Gator's Parasail to friends and am looking forward to going again in the future! read more

FABULOUS! Brian and Zach were great guides and had everyone laughing the whole trip! The weather started out not being very cooperative so our start time got pushed back but Andy did a great job keeping us informed of the new launch time. Parasailing was a "bucket list" item for me and it definitely exceeded expectations thanks to Gators! Only bummer is that I was so excited when I got off the boat that I forgot to buy a t-shirt to commemorate the great experience. And be sure to tip the crew, they deserve it!! read more

I've always wanted to parasail and I was determined to go this trip. We booked for yesterday, but the weather was horrible so we rescheduled today. Andy was great at scheduling us and was so nice! We had the best time ever parasailing and the views were amazing! Bryce and John were our captain and mate. They were awesome and very personable. I drove from St.Pete Beach and do not regret the drive and going with this company at all. We had Eric and Barry as our "guides" and they were GREAT. They were funny and friendly. We had such a fun time. They even got dolphins to jump in the boat's wake after we finished the parasail ride. Also, this company went WAYYY higher in the air than the other ones. Hooked up with Captain Bryce, John and Hunter on Wednesday, October 15 for my first Parasailing adventure. Talked to John night before and he sold me. What a thrill. Easy up, Easy down. My fiancé and I went parasailing for the first time with Gator's parasail this past week. The crew was super nice and welcoming. They were also informative and helpful when it comes to questions. I went with my brother, our 5 kids, and grandma. The staff was extremely professional, but fun. Free parking was available, the boat was clean and organized. One highlight is that we were out with other parasailing outfits, and our ride was noticeably longer. I wouldn't use anyone else in the future, and will definitely be recommending Gator's to my friends and family! read more

Our experience was amazing! We booked our spot only hours prior and they were extremely accommodating. They also offer a photo package for only $25 where they give you a memory card with ALL the photos they take. Such a great deal. All the staff were so friendly and made my party very comfortable. My first time parasailing and I had so much fun! The boat ride itself was enjoyable, and being up in the air was even better! We got to see sharks and manta rays below us while we were up in the air. The staff were great. They made us feel comfortable, safe, and gave us a few good laughs. I would recommend parasailing with them! read more

I had an amazing time the guys were funny. And don't joke about hunter hitting his head. And also it was most fun when captain Bryce was turning he boat and when captain Bryce dipped us in the water. Really nice guys that run Gator's. We were late due to the bridge having issues and they saved a parking spot plus waited for us to leave. They were great with my son that has autism and is non-verbal. Driver and assistant were really nice and helpful. Pictures they took were great, but for $25 I wish there was more. read more

Great staff, made the trip fun for everyone involved. They know their stuff! Our original time got messed up due to boat drive problems, but they called us ahead and notified that we could change times or do a full refund. With that kind of service we will definitely return for a second adventure. read more
