I made a quick visit to Gatorland before returning back home. I got my ticket online and upgraded my ticket. I believe you save a few dollars if you purchase online. The upgraded ticket included a meet a gator experience, a bag of gator chow, unlimited train rides, and admission. Parking was easily found right next to the entrance which was nice! As I walked in, I saw some kids with fishing poles that appeared to be feeding small gators. You can pay $5 and get 3 small frozen fish to feed the gators or you can pay $20 and get a plate full of small frozen fish. I opted for the $20 option. This experience was probably my second favorite. The small gators are strong and tug on the pole, so just be mindful if your child is on the younger side. Gatorland is also home to a lot of other animals such as crocodiles, birds, owls, snakes, mountain lion, among other creatures. I got to the gator show before start time and was able to have the meet the gator experience. It was so interesting to get feel the gator's skin. Professional pictures are snapped at that moment but are not included. They are available for purchase at 2 locations. This was my favorite experience. My third favorite experience was feeding the gators with gator chow. There's an area where you walk in a dock-like area and are able to throw the chow to them. There are a lot of birds who try to steal the food. They are not shy, so be careful. The train ride was fun and I enjoyed learning about how Gatorland came to be. Overall, it was very fun! Every time we come here we have a great experience. They have a lot of things to do and see. We love feeding the goats, birds, and capybaras. They have a cute train ride for kids, and adult buggy ride for adults. You can hold a snake and alligator. There a lot of interesting shows, and areas where you can explore and walk around. You can create your own adventure. I recommend getting the reusable cup, since refills are 99 cents and get the pulled pork sandwich or their own signature gator bites. We got the annual pass for around 50, so we can come back all year. They're building a beer outside bar soon, and just opened a candy shop! read more

So much better than my expectations! I my wife and I really enjoyed Gatorland and recommend it to both families and adults. It didn't feel too kiddie and we comfortably spent 4 hours exploring with a reasonable amount of downtime. We caught 3 shows, played with capybaras, watched gator wrangling, walked through a swamp, and learned more than I ever wanted to about Florida and wildlife. Oh and saw panthers playing (and eyeing children!) and a bobcat and serval cat being fed and making pancakes. We bought tickets with no expectations and were really pleasantly surprised. read more

We went here for my fiancé's birthday and we LOVED it. Being able to feed the alligators in a safe environment was really cool. My favorite part was the photo ops. I definitely spent too much money buying the photos LOL. I'd recommend adding money into your budget for the photos because they're amazingggg. We spent all day there and could have spent longer. The food was okay, nothing too special, but we didn't care. We did the monster trunk off roaring adventure and it was fun (although not very long) and would probably be very fun for kids. Absolutely enamored with this place! I've loved reptiles and gators as a kid, and this place revitalized my love for them again!! It's a great place filled with families, and you can tell it's a local favorite! There are so many gators here, and the shows are great! I also like that they have a small parakeet aviary that is free to enter though it's best to buy thier seed sticks if you want the birds to approach or perch on your hand. There was also an uncharge if you wanted to do an activity of feeding gators at a close distance (tossing 2 raw pieces of chicken at gators at about 8 - 10feet away) but I would say it was definitely worth the experience! Plus you get a neat photo from it! I also had the chance to try gator nuggets, which isn't too different from a dry chicken nugget! But still neat to try. Overall, an amazing locals experience filled with plenty of animals and lots of gators!! read more

Great entertainment for an afternoon in Orlando. It was a fun time but I wish they had gloves available to put bait to feed the animals or at least hand wipes/sanitizer. It was an expensive pit stop before heading to the airport, but overall it was a memorable time. read more

We had some time to kill between our stay in Daytona Beach and our stay in Orlando. I had seen signs for Gatorland and after watching quite a few documentaries on zoos and things I get a little apprehensive about visiting places like this. I did read on some signs that it's a sanctuary and they actually rescued many of the alligators that are living there. They are also partners with other organizations around the world. I loved our time at Gatorland. My 12 year old son said I made a good choice. I've never seen so many gators in all of my life. The size of some of these animals was impressive. The drinks and food are of course overpriced, but the experience and the price of tickets wasn't too bad. Kind of bummed we didn't get to experience the Capybara. I have only been to Florida twice in my life and both times theme parks. This last trip I was really looking to do something besides that. Where the alligators came into play. First and foremost, I really researched the park and prices and hours. Very affordable rate of $30+. Hours were great so we decided to make a go of it. It was about a 20min drive away from the theme parks. There is plenty of parking. We showed up when it first opened. Hardly anyone was there. The park itself is huge. And you are surrounded by alligators. There are exhibits everywhere. The park itself is very clean and the walking paths are nice. There are signs everywhere. Very easy park to navigate. Alligators are not the only animals to view. There are parrots, turtles, lizards and more. They have animal shows and private tours. They sell fish and food to feed gators. They also have a swamp tour walk. Honestly you could spend all day here. Apart from the animals they also have a small waterpark to keep kids cool. They also have food and snacks onsite. Being a Central Florida resident for most of my life I am ashamed to say that prior to my recent visit... I had been to Gatorland only once before. Back when I was a kid there wasn't as many bells and whistles as I can remember. Fast forward to today, I had a chance to visit this gator wonderland and I was blown away with how far this place has come! The tickets themselves were very affordable especially if you are a Florida resident. There was plenty of parking and even additional parking in the rear. Upon entering you are greeted by hundreds of gators where you can watch them interact within their habitat and you could also feed them. Along with the gators other wildlife animals that call Gatorland their home include tropical birds, tortoises, bobcats, reptiles, goats and Capybaras! My hands down favorite attractions were the gator show and the capybaras meet and greet. The gator show was filled with comedy and action. And the capybaras were so precious and some of the most calmest animals I have ever seen! Overall, I had such an amazing experience at Gatorland and I can't wait to come back! read more

Gatorland Park in Orlando, Florida: A Snappy Adventure! Alright, never thought I'd be *wrestling* with the idea of writing a gator park review, but here we *snap*--let's go! It was fun AF (*Alligators Forever*, of course)! The park is super clean, the walking paths are nice, and you can really tell the gators and all the other wild critters are *well-fed and well-bred*. The Alligator wrangling show? Absolutely *snaptacular*, and the feeding show? A total *bite* of fun! And don't even get me started on the giant tortoises. Those slow and steady cuties are *turtley* adorable! You can feed them for a small fee--*shelling* out a few bucks has never been more worth it. I went full tourist mode and got my picture with a baby gator! You could even pose with a snake, but I said, "*s-sss-skip* that!" Bottom line: The kids will be *snapping* it up, there's food on-site, and it's a *gator-rific* way to spend a few hours away from the bigger theme parks. If you love crocodiles, alligators, and native Floridian animals then this is the place to go! It's a great place to take the family too. We also did the Zipline, train ride, monster truck ride, hand feed the alligators, etc. Food was delicious as well and reasonably priced. Visited (10/26/25): Gatorland is a MUST DO when you are in the Orlando, FL area. We found cheaper tickets online through their own website. Plan on spending 3-5 hours as there are PLENTY of things to do for visitors of all ages! The don't miss is the JUMPING Gators show that is performed 2x per day (weather dependent). read more

As a born and raised city girl who tends to think she's better than everyone else because she was born and raised in said city (it's a habit I'm breaking because I hate it), I was skeptical when my husband wanted to visit Gatorland. As we parked at the very nice lot with free parking and walked up to the front of the park with a large gator head to pose in, my skepticism remained. I got cheap, Disney knock off gift shops in Kissimmee vibes... but as soon as we stepped into the park (after having my ticket scanned by two VERY nice employees), I was in awe. The place is SPOTLESS, very well maintained, and downright beautiful. These gators are livin the DREAM: plenty of land to roam, water to swim, food at their beck and call... celebrities in the 1% don't have it this good. I thought we'd be able to see the place in a couple of hours... we were there from 10-5 and I could have stayed longer! Even my teenagers had a blast! Some of negatives is the speaker on the train was unbearable and needs to be fixed, lots of things are cash only, and the refillable mug IS paid refills, .99 cents for the big one... but still worth it (especially if you are locals like us who bought the annual passes before leaving). The shows are a RIOT and every single employee I interacted with was amazing. To people who wanna cry and complain about "uggh, the treatment of these poor animals " need to take their virtue signaling somewhere where people will fall for it. One look on their website and time spent in the park will tell you this place LOVES and RESPECTS these creatures and has done so much good for them, it's incredible. The nostalgia here is so real. I really enjoyed coming back here as a Florida resident with my friend over spring break after visiting the park for the last time a little over ten years ago. We got the greater gator package and I was also able to get a nice Florida resident discount. Happy with the Legends of the Swamp show and also the "cookies" that guests are given to feed gators around the park. One thing that was a little annoying was that the train was shut down multiple times when we were there. On top of this, it felt like the park keeps trying to shove paid add ons to your purchased admission fare. Between the paid pictures at every point and the overpriced food, Gatorland is definitely a theme park! This was hands down the happiest day of my life. In the last year i have been to Universal studios+Islands, Disney Magic Kingdom+Epcot and I wasn't even a FRACTION of happy as I was today. Gatorland was a life changing experience for me! I had the chance to feed alligators and the cutest birds! My husband volunteered for the show and I was SHOCKED when they brought out a real life snake and put it in him to hold! And on our way to the other show Myles from Michigan working the pretzel cart made my day and brought me to tears in how sweet he was. He was just the kindest boy I have ever meet and same for the boy giving away the fish for alligator feeding. The staff here is absolutely amazing and just made my day amazing. They were so sweet and attentive I was in awe. The Legend Show was also a blast and my husband was able to MOUNT an alligator!! It was so much fun. The park itself is a fun, great place for kids of all ages. We visited on a Monday and spent the extra $150 to rent a cabana. There were very few people in the park. Only 3 of the 5 cabanas were rented. I moved my chair to a sunny area near A dining area. A staff member informed me that I was not allowed to sit there but didn't tell me where else I could sit. When I spoke to the attendant again, I was informed that I could not sit there because people in the cabana 50 ft away didn't want me there. Perhaps they could have been moved or better yet, perhaps the attendant could have directed me to a better location. Please train your staff to be more helpful to all visitors read more

This is my first time here at Gatorland. There was a lot to see. They have many many gators including albino ones and babies. Also there were several types of the species. They had exotic birds, snakes, horses, and several other animals. I believe they're all rescued. There were a variety of shows including the one we watched, Gator wrestling. Fun show. They could use more restroom facilities and signage wasn't clear for them. It seemed clean and kept up. A great place for kids. A lot of activities for them. read more

A classic Florida adventure with lots to see and do Gatorland was such a fun and unique place to visit--I spent several hours there and enjoyed every minute. A friend recommended it, and I'm glad they did. It's easy to get to, with plenty of parking and a relaxed, friendly vibe once you're inside. The park is full of gators and crocodiles of all sizes, plus rare white alligators, birds, snakes, and even a petting zoo. One of the highlights for me was riding the Gatorland Express train, which loops around the park and gives you a great overview of everything. I also climbed their three-story observation tower, which overlooks the main alligator lake--what a view! You can see hundreds of gators sunning themselves or swimming around. The layout is well thought out, with shaded areas, walking trails, and plenty of spots to stop and take pictures. There are shows throughout the day, like the Gator Jumparoo, that are both fun and educational. The staff was helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. Gatorland feels like a classic piece of Florida, with just the right mix of wildlife, entertainment, and charm. We were looking for something to do & this place was recommended so we figured why not. Entrance tickets are very reasonable we arrived , came in right away since there were no lines. After having some food we were ready to explored, immediately u are greeted by some gators , small ones in like a feeding area. U got the birds all around hoping to snatch a fish. We saw several large gators, a few different types & the very cool albino gators cool to see. small baby gators, they also have a variety of other animals, enough to entertain. Pros: gators everywhere. You'll be over it after visiting gatorland. Cons: There are too many warning. If I want to try to pet a gator and lose my arm, that's my prerogative. (j/k please don't try to pet the gators) When I think of Florida I think of disney world, oranges, and alligators. If you've never seen one, come here you'll see hundreds of them of all ages. I think it's worth visiting at least once, Fed the gators. You buy bait $5 for 3 small sardine sized fishes or $20 for like... 15 fishes. They give you a wooden 3 foot wooden dowel with a rope, clip, and a long weed wacker plastic string. You use the plastic string to pierce the sardine's body and hook the loose end to the clip. You lower the fish over the fence and lure the gators to eat the fish. The staff encourage you to try to make them jump. My 4 year old son was over it after the 3rd fish. I had 2 tries and wife had 1. The rest we just lobbed them to the gators. If I was to do it again, I'd probably do 6 small fishes for $10. The set up to attach the fish to the fishing line was probably the most time consuming part-- also stinky and kinda gross. Some of the things that were intersting to me is that you only get to feed the 4-5 year old gators. They're the size of medium size golden retrievers. They're cute because of their size but I really wanted to feed the bigger gators. However, the staff were like... "don't feed the big gators or they'll pull you in" nuff said cause I didn't want to die. I totally believe them because after feeding the small ones, I realized they're pretty strong already small tug enough to brace myself. My hands smelled so fishy that it only came off with alcohol based hand sanitizor. took pictures with a baby gator. Man they feed so weird! skin was scaly and they were surprizingly heavy. They instructed me on how to hold the gator. The baby gator was very docile. I was expecting it to flop around like a fish and whip me with it's tail. The croc handlers were great at sensing my fear and assured me that I was ok. The fee was about $10 to take a pic. They took offical pictures with their camera but we were able to take pictures with our phones as well. Not sure what happened to the offical pictures as we never got them. I was probably just focusing on getting my heart rate down that I forgot about the offical pictures. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because we arrived near closing. While on a family trip with my own kids, I brought them here to share with them a core memory from my childhood. A lot of Gatorland is how I remembered it; the large Gator mouth entrance. The Alligator wranglers, the white Alligator, the Alligator & snake photo area, and the Alligator feeding show. Although my boys are a little older, they definitely enjoyed Gatorland as well.
