We were bored in the area and found a Groupon for Gator Golf that was very affordable. I have mixed feelings about this mini-golf course... The prices were super cheap ($16 for 1 round with 2-Players); the location was nestled conveniently on I-Drive with a decent parking lot; and service was friendly. The theming is very kitschy, cute, and fun -- I loved the "Old Florida" theme and feel! But the whole course gave off an air of neglect and dilapidation. You can tell that many parts of the course need to be better maintained and updated; especially the live animal enclosures. I also saw broken deck boards throughout the course. At the very least, they look well-fed. But the enclosures felt small for the amount of large animals they had. The turtle had some minor pyramiding of the shell and the tank for some of the fish were filthy. The mini-golf portion felt fine -- it wasn't the best maintained that I've seen, but it was decently challenging and fun. I really appreciated that a good amount of the courses were under shade because it's hot right now. Overall, if you're just looking for a cheap activity in the afternoon, Gator Golf will definitely meet your needs; but I wish they would charge a bit more and reinvest that money to the caretaking of the animals and improvements to the grounds. In the current state, it feels like they know the place needs work, but are trying to squeeze out every penny they can get from the course until they can just close it down (this is not a criticism of the employees, but rather management). read more

Gator golf is located off of iDrive right next to the cc, the Chuck E. Cheese, and right across the street from Murphy's. It is one of my all-time favorite hole in the wall tourist spots to play mini golf. They have normally Groupon's range from eight dollars per person to like $12 for two people. You can feed the gators as well not only just look at them. If they have baby gators, medium size gators, and an alligator that weighs about a ton. They are doing improvements to their facilities such as fixing up the restrooms and the greenery on the mini golf course which make it look way better than it did before. Mini golf course is super fun and I highly recommend it if you are a fan of alligators or any type of wildlife you're definitely going to like it. 10/10 read more

We came here on a Groupon and for the price its definitely worth it! As your first walking up you can see alligators and lots of them. This place has 18 holes so you're playing for a good bit and a point where you go upstairs and there's more holes. All around there are different alligator pits and also a pretty big one in the back. LOTS OF PHOTO PROPS it reminds me of Gatlinburg TN with all the bear statues. I will say they do need to freshen up the paint and hazard tripping areas because some were unnoticeable. And I wish they had a spot to drop off your putter at the end instead of walking all the way back up but either way for the price in Orlando it's not a bad stop. read more

We have played on courses all over the country. This is now one of our favorites. Another break venue in between theme parks that just seemed to be something for the whole family. The entrance seems a little bit off. In the middle of residential area, and the gator statue and shark props luckily caught the eye, otherwise we would have just passed it. The staff was chill and quickly made sure we understood the rules before teeing off our mini golf session between gators and other creatures. At first sight it was hard to understand how there were 18 holes, because the place just didn't look big. It is built with smaller gator, turtles, fish aquarium and maybe a snake as well, lined up as you progress up and down and around. Our challenge was to keep playing, because there was so much distraction ( in a good way), with the gators laying around everywhere. The more you move forward the bigger the gator. Amazed how they have managed to utilize such small place to harbor so many creatures. Kids and adults loved playing the game and seeing the creatures up close. To make much frustration perhaps for the team behind us, since we spent some time by each hole just studying the creatures before moving on. Very cute mini golf. Came her with the bestie we got a Groupon it was super hot today in the 90s. There are some spots throughout the course that have shaded areas. We love that this course had 18 holes. A lot of fun and the bestie won by one point! They have gators that you can buy food and feed, and some really big turtles. Great if you want to see gators. Terrible if you want to play a decent round of mini golf. The greens are torn up, so good luck getting a smooth putt because there are huge gashes in some areas or bunched up bits in others. The decorations have chunks gouged out of them and are in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint. Also once you're on the course it's very cramped so if you've got fast players behind you there's barely room to stand to the side and let them pass (we were a group of 5 so we awkwardly let a group of two pass us but had to dance around their balls on the green to do it) Only two or three holes have any kind of challenge or theme, most are just bank it off this bumper type holes. If I could rate this with negative stars I would. Person at the front desk was very rude. Everything looked very run down, broken, vandalized, etc. It looked like a ghost town. Me and my father went on the go-kart ride a couple years back, cause we wanted to have a little fun while visiting family, but that was a huge mistake, the go-karts were bumpy and I nearly got whiplash from bumping into someone else. We tried the golf next, but it was mediocre at best. The customer service was bad, there were over friendly employees, and just plain rude ones. There were also gator facts listed everywhere which was cool. The mini golf course isn't all that special but it is definitely fun. You're going here for the gators with a side of mini golf. There were also so many gators ranging from babies to a 12 foot long gator. The staff there was amazing and helped make our experience the best it could be!! Jesus and Martin were the ebst and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable!!! Something I would definitely recommend is to feed the gators. I feel like whenever you are in vacation in Florida that it is either a law or should be a law that you do something gator related. Gator golf filled that requirement for me. If you can not tell by the name Gator golf is a mini golf course that has a plethora of gators on it. They are mostly on the first few holes and after that it turns into your more typical mini golf. The course is a little run down, but you can tell they are actively making renovations to the course so it should be in better shape soon. You can also by gator food to feed the gators, I preferred feeding the little gators, they were much more active than the big ones. The cost was not too bad, right inline with what you would expect to pay in this area. There was only 1 18 hole course here, while most near by have 2. Parking is in the back so it's a little bit of a walk to get to the front. Overall a decent place to play 18 holes of golf with some fun gator interactions. read more

Fun for the whole family. Affordable compared to other local putt putt places. This place needs to remodel and upgrade. Some of the greenery on the holes were ripped up or wrinkled, affecting the quality of play. Although the difficulty increased from hole to hole, some of the areas need to be completed, cleaned or overall recomposed. This place was a lot of fun! We went on a Saturday night, considering it was on international drive I was surprised that we were able to find parking so quickly and so close! The employee working the stand was super friendly, he even pointed us over to the bar next door so we could sip on a drink while we played a round of mini golf! The prices were decent.. about $12 a person, plus we decided to grab a bag of gator food for another $8, for three people we spent just under $40! We got there a little late, around 930 but we were able to play until just before 11! The beginning of the course had adorable baby gators in tanks, as the course went on there was also some assorted sized gators, and a huge tortoise! The also have cute little photo taking opportunities scattered through out! This is a pretty unique putt putt golf course 18 holes with a lot of alligators as diversions as you wait to putt on the next hole. The course is not super difficult and on most holes I was getting par so this is a great course for kids. My 7 year old daughter loved it and we bought her some gator food to feed the alligators. There was a good hole near the end where you hit it into one of three holes and it gores down the different drainpipes to the bottom level to make your final put. I was a little put off as I wanted a Diet Coke and they said it was expired indeed a year ago. They put it back in the fridge. I am sure the regular drinks are ok. A good way to spend and hour or two and also has some shade as you wait as well as benches to sit on. read more
