This review is a bit late but, Gator Removal deserves a big shout out. My husband and I enlisted the services of Gator Junk Removal twice. The first time was in 2023, when we were readying our Aunt's house for sale after she passed. That is when I first met the owner Weeden. He is a very friendly and earnest young man. I told him what I was dealing with and he came out the next weekend to give me a firm quote. I had to schedule for the next weekend and he showed up with a helper right on time. These two men did an excellent job clearing out the remnants in the house and yard. They missed nothing. When they were done, his quote was firm, not one extra dime. I contacted Gator again in 2026 for junk Removal from our home as we were moving out of state. This time, the quote was over the phone and dependant on what I advised needed removing. Two days later, two reps from Gator Removal showed up. They quickly and efficiently removed all of the stated items. I was shocked at how full the truck was when they were finished and was expecting an extra charge. Ther was no extra charge. The guys stated that per my list of items needing removal, the quote they gave was accurate and that was all there was to pay. I can't say enough about this company and their representatives. Every one of the gentlemen I met over the two removals were friendly, hard-working, careful and efficient. I highly recommend Gator Junk Removal for clean outs and moves. Apparently you can't leave two reviews on yelp even if they relate to two different experiences you had with a company (annoyed because they make it sound like your first one will still be there it just won't effect scoring I would have edited my first one had I known they'd delete it) so while I can't recreate my first review in its entirety, I would like to say a few things about my first experience with Recover Right since that's why I have a second experience with them. **** 1 **** The first time I had the gentlemen from Recover Right to my home was to help me clean out my garage. They were professional, courteous and very kind. They moved boxes for me just so I could look inside them (as I cannot lift anything due to a foot/ankle injury) whether I got rid of them or not they never seemed impatient and were always eager to help. They shifted furniture I was keeping just so I could see behind it. They went above and beyond what they were required to do at every step of the process. For the service I received I would say the price was amazing. They did so much more than I expected them to do for me and were genuinely nice the entire time (I worked in retail and food service for over a decade, I can discern the genuine article from the fraudulent face). It's so nice to see people go above and beyond anymore I had to have them back. I could tell right away I had discovered a real gem in Recover Right. **** 2 **** I had the gentlemen from Recover Right back out a second time to clean out my backyard of a child's plastic playhouse, sandbox (still containing some sand which they also got rid of for me, they were real troopers getting that out of here), various other plastic toys, a couple of old rusty bicycles and various other toys from when my son was small. They were again consummate professionals. They didn't only clean out the plastic toys etc. but also offered to carry away all my yard trash such as palm fronds. They have no idea how nice it was to have someone take away my dead palm fronds! They also cleared out anywhere they saw any large size dead plant material and even found a fence board that had fallen off that I'd been trying to find for weeks. The palm fronds especially were great. They are a major hassle to get rid of in my neighborhood as they have to be cut down to size and then fit into the regular garbage bin. As you can imagine this greatly cuts down the room for the actual garbage. This was fantastic especially as I have an ongoing foot/ankle injury that makes this a very difficult task, so for once my yard was free of palm tree debris! They swept my entire large patio when they were done and the backyard looked as good as the day I bought the house. I'm extremely pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone, in fact I have already started recommending them to my friends and family. read more

RECOVER RIGHT IS AMAZING! (My previous appointment with 1-800-GOT-JUNK was awful/expensive/and they had a bad attitude. Oh, yeah, and they missed the appointment window -- TWICE. Avoid them!)... I did some research and came across "Recover Right." What a great find! They just left my home and did a FANTASTIC job. 1) From the time I called for an appointment, an actual person (not a recorded message!) immediately answered. The gentleman was courteous, efficient, and friendly. I was immediately given an appointment for the next day (great!) with a 2-hour appointment window. (And, it was so nice that I didn't have to press different menu options and wait on Hold as I did when I'd called 1-800-GOT-JUNK). 2) The appointment window was from 12-2 pm. Which means, these days, a company shows up at 3 pm, if you're lucky! Well, not so with Recover Right! Recover Right showed up right at noon (and they even texted me first to let me know they were on their way). 3) It was two men (strong, in their 20's), with a big green truck. Both were extremely polite ("thank you", "ma'am", "good afternoon"), professional, and friendly -- and they worked quickly and carefully. They even insisted on sweeping up the area when they were done, even when I said not to worry about it. Just amazing all around. 4) Oh, and the price was about half of what 1-800-GOT-JUNK would've charged me.
