Danielle is a horrible communicator and very rude. Refuses to speak to you on the phone regarding your questions and insists to text only then when asked to just stop she insists she is merely being professional by communicating even though you have asked her to stop repeatedly. She claims she is forced to communicate this way while she is with a customer which tells me she/they do not pay attention to the paying customer they are servicing and stand around texting instead. Based on other reviews of the poor quality of their actual work I suggest we all run. I would never hire such an unprofessionally ran company that wants your money but refuses to communicate properly. She is rude and condescending. She even called me childish. I would say if you are so unsocialized and lack in customer service skills a customer expecting that from you is not the one with maturity issues. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Two ladies came into our house with a vacuum and a large buffer type brush. When they were finished, I checked the shower and the owner Danile left soap scum on the door, black mold on the grout and shower head. She said that the only things they ever clean was tile. That these parts - shower head door and grout - were not part of the shower. Paid for them to clean bathroom floor and the results were trash in the corners and streaked floor tiles. I had paid $625.00 for carpet and tile cleaning, We ask her to come back to correct the problem but she offer no discount or refund and kept saying in a very loud voice she had 16 years of experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I made an appointment for Gator Clean for today (Aug. 5) to clean three rooms of carpet (less than 750 sq ft) and was quoted $50 to $60 per room. When they arrived, suddenly the price jumped to $225! When I objected, the techs both said the owner would take money out of their paychecks if they went over the allotted amount of chemicals. The lead tech said she would drop the price to $200. but if they ran out of chemicals too bad. The techs started cleaning at 9 a.m. and were "finished," just 30 minutes later. I told the techs that I couldn't tell the carpet had been cleaned at all and was disappointed. I told the lead tech that she did not cover all of my carpets and seemed to be going on a joy ride with the machine instead of cleaning it, You could still see stains on my carpet and I explained that I had used other companies in the past and was very satisfied when they left. I said I wanted a refund. Both techs only made excuses and did nothing to resolve the fact that my carpet it didn't look any different from before they arrived this morning. After they left, I texted the tech and let her know that I was, again, disappointed and wanted a refund. She made excuses again. I then found a phone number on the website and left a detailed message letting the "owner," know that I was not happy with the service the company had provided and that my carpet was not clean. Imagine my surprise when the tech texted me a minute late and asked if I had called because all calls go to her. I texted her back and said I'm sure you heard my message then, but I'll track down the owner. The tech then replied, "the owner's my husband," how can I help you? So not only did Gator Clean NOT CLEAN my carpets, the lead tech knowingly misrepresented herself as an employee that would be docked pay if she didn't charge me enough for the cleaning. Danielle squeezed our home in for an air duct cleaning this past Saturday afternoon. She was transparent prior to the appointment about how their truck's transmission was out and they had a rental and she asked if that was ok, which my husband and I were fine with. She met my husband at our house and he had a positive experience with the team. They showed him that there was mold and let him see for himself to confirm so we also did the EnviroCon fogging treatment for our house after they vacuumed the ducts, which they kindly discounted for us. According to my husband, they were very pleasant and chatted with him while they completed the cleaning. They also advised him next steps to help with my allergy situation and gave general advice. Danielle even texted me to follow up a few days after their service to see if I was doing okay in the house! So sweet and thoughtful, only something you get from a small business. The only thing that keeps me from giving a full five stars (I think the service itself was five stars) is the website. Danielle promptly responded to my online quote request to learn more about their allergen removal service listed on their website. ( https://www.gatorclean.net/services/allergen-removal.html ) I asked for this allergen removal service on the website's online contact form and the reply I got via text was "OK it sounds like you may need to clean your air ducts and do an allergen treatment" and after discussing more, the allergen treatment was the fogging and not the cleaning describe on the website. We had another company two months ago who ended up claiming our ducts had nothing in them at all and didn't do the duct cleaning, but since my allergies were still bad enough for me not to live in our home, Danielle checked our ducts and there were dusts and she said there was also a clog so we did need the service and it seems to have helped my allergies. So I only would recommend updating the website to accurately describe the service offered for allergen treatment. :) read more

The technicians and owner of this company are friendly and professional. They have done work for our business and home and have been reasonable and honest. We did not clean our tiles professionally for almost 10 years and after they explained what was needed to restore our tiles to their former glory, we paid the extra cleaning charge they recommended. The tiles look like the day they were installed. On our home carpets they were thorough in their pre inspection and even went further to ask what our future intent was with the carpet since they saw we were remodeling. They educated us on what our possibilities were and ultimately they suggested not to do any major cleaning of the carpet since we did intend to remove it in a years time. Had they not asked, we probably would have gone with the higher priced cleaning because we just wanted it clean. Instead they addressed the problem areas that looked the worse and spot treated the rest. Potentially he saved us anywhere between $300-700. We are so grateful that he was honest with us and did not just try to "sell" us. Instead he educated us on our potential flooring options when we would change them, he also took the time to tell us pros and cons between tile, carpet, wood, etc. I read a lot of reviews on YELP to help me decide where I will do business at, I am glad I used this company, more importantly I hope this other reviewer who had a bad experience is happy with other service providers... I contracted Gator Clean to clean a love seat and a late 1800's fainting couch that had nicotine stains and some other stains. The places that were scrubbed diligently were quite clean but, unfortunately, not all of the upholstery was cleaned with the same vigor. It now looks like I have to call in someone else. Danielle refused to come back out and even take a look at what she had done. The 30 days passed with no word. The material was a simple 100% unbleached cotton denim, but she insisted on using a dry cleaning agent. Dry cleaning agents don't take 3 days to dry. What was supposed to cost $99 actually cost $320. Yesterday, Danielle & Kelly arrived at our home to do: Air Duct cleaning, Dryer Vent cleaning, Upholstery cleaning of sofa, love seat & 2 recliners as well as Carpet Cleaning ( 6 rms of beige berber showing traffic wear pattern & stains from spills. Also, the hallways had matted in areas from continuous walking in our 1900 sq ft home. Previous Carpet cleaning companies were never able to get the carpet this clean. TODAY IT LOOKS ALMOST LIKE NEW !! The gals were friendly, courteous and knowledgable about the products and services. Very hard workers. They reminded me of " Tim the Tool Man" from TV show as they brought their own ladders, drills for removing all the ceiling vents, super vacuum , duct cleaning hoses, and carpet cleaning machine. :-)) The carpet dried very fast compared to most cleanings we have had. I was told one time and they changed it to another because the transmission went out on the truck...they came in a rental van...I asked if they had a big vac system to clean the air ducts they said yes but came with a larger shop vac...they said they can do the job in two to three hours and others told me 6 to 8 hours.. when she came the price went up and I had a bad feeling and told her to leave she started arguing with me that she has been doing this for 13 years and how everybody loves there work, I let her start... the one lady started taking off vents the boss worked in the master bath and bedroom and was done in about 15 to 20 minutes. Then came to living room and I watched her take off the vent hander it to the other lady she wiped it off handed the hose to the boss she put about one foot in the vent and was done...she then reinstalled the vent I then told them to leave...she said I've done a lot of work and I gave her $100 and again told her to leave, she kept yelling at me how great of work they do...I told her she had put the hose in about a foot and her reply was, that's all the longer the run was and I told her I've been in the attic and it was around 20 feet long.... she continued to argue with me .... and I then said again get your stuff and get out and then I said I am going to call the police and then they left...this is a scam and do not call them two women pretending to do the job.... their web site has all good reviews but there is nowhere for you to write one....Ted D read more

Chris and his crew from Gator Clean run a slick operation and I would highly recommend them. There's not a lot of carpet cleaners who can also handle a wide range of other things like tile, mattresses, dryer vents and air ducts, but they can here and do a fine job at it at a very affordable price. They put a special emphasis on "healthy" cleaning, using non-toxic chemicals, which coming from someone with Asthma (me), that's especially helpful. Based on our experience I recommend you do NOT use Gator Clean to clean your carpets. I was told By Danielle that it is normal for the carpets to be dirty after Gator Clean charged $364 for 2 rooms. and 1 large area rug and 4 small area rugs. I was quoted $139 for two rooms including the stain guard. I was not home so they charged my husband extra for the stain guard. I was told I needed to vacuum them 3 or 4 times before they would be clean. Gator Clean was in the house less than 40 minutes and my carpets and rugs were dirty when the left. They were supposed to clean my dryer vent, and again bumped the price up $10 dollars, and only cleaned the vent from the outside, never cleaning it from the machine side. I had asked about having my tile cleaned, and was given a quote. When I asked about doing the tile once they were there, the price doubled! The guy came out to do this and he cleaned 2 or 3 vents when I realized that either they were not dirty OR he was not doing a good job. Their employee agreed that there was no dirt coming out of my vents. It made no sense to waste anymore time "cleaning." I wanted to pay for the 3 vents that he did "clean" The owner wanted the FULL price of the job, even though they did not perform the full job. He threatened to put a lien on my home. He told me they had done it before and would not hesitate to do it with me. Their customer service sucks. Very disappointed...but I guess it was our floors. Unfortunately I wish that could have been determined prior to paying 4,600 dollars to have 3000 sq. ft. Of travertine cleaned. Our floors needed cleaning and a shine brought back. The crew of 2 came and finished in a little over 4 hours...wow..over 1,000 dollars an hour...They cleaned the floors and then applied an enhancer. The enhancer then caused a stickiness and a haze, as it would not absorb correctly. They were called and they came back 5 days later and were here a couple of hours to thin out and remove the excess enhancer. Was advised that previous owners of our floors had applied an epoxy sealer not only to the grout but also the entire floor, which caused the problem, again couldn't this have been determined prior to spending the astronomical dollars? Their removal of the enhancer did eliminate the stickiness in most areas, but there as still many corners and countless small areas that apparently was missed and did not get done. We have now been working on trying to correct this oversight. I must say the floors are clean, but for the price paid we are very dissatisfied and unfortunately it is not the outcome we expected. read more

She said things like "if you don't put on a protective sealant ($10 per room) this won't last." She also suggested another "upgrade" which would have put our bill up to $240.00. Lat November I had my carpets cleaned and dealt with a technician names Dianelle. I had scheduled the 3 rooms for $89.00. Danielle explained to me that I would not get the result due to to age of carpet and needing a protection on the carpet to repel dirt more efficiently. I agree to the cost increase from $89.00 to $180.00 because of the difference it would make on carpet.Assured me that could get all the carpeting dirt free. I was given specific instructions on how to maintain carpets and after this cleaning would only need to do the $89.00 next year.I notice the shadows in my hallway but assumed aged and traffic would cause that. As time has gone by I notice pockets of dirt that looked to me as if a residue was attracting the dirt and vacuuming was not remove the dirt.The carpets look worse today then before I had them cleaned in November.As the same as last year it just my husband and I living here so it is not receiving any increase in traffic. I called yesterday because they advertised Sunday hours left voice mail and never received a call.Call this morning voice mail again! Danielle did call back within the hour,flatly told me you are out of luck it has been 4 months! I try to explain I think there is a problem with the protection applied to the carpet because of the way dirt is clumping on carpet. I want them to come look at the carpet and see if that in fact was the issue...she refused. If I wanted them back it would cost me extra to look at their WORK! Danielle was very rude and let me know they cleaned and they don't care if their is an issue with the solution they used. 30 days after that your out of luck! This is a company that does not seek repeat customers but rather get the volume up by a bait and switch and then walk a way because they have thousands of Villages who will fall for their scam as I did! We recommend you DO NOT USE gator clean. First off, you need to know they don't move furniture! Luckily we had thought ahead and moved all furniture out. Danielle arrived 1-1/2 hours late. She never intended to use the steam system that I had intended her to use. It was the special sale they were offering in their "bait and switch" advertisement. She had planned to use the new (more expensive) system to clean our carpets. I showed her the 3 carpeted rooms (2 are small) and since we don't have a carpeted hall, I asked her to clean the small hall-like area of a 4th room. She said she would do that area for an extra $20 (her charge for a half room). I reminded her that her ad states "3 rooms and a hall for $99". Her response: "that is not a hall". When she got the cost up to $160 I told her to leave right then. She refused, so in order to avoid conflict I told her to do the $99 special with the truck-mounted steam system. (Her helper had been outside all this time and started to enter the house with her newer, "better" system.) So he set the steam system up while she sprayed the carpets with something. She then proceeded to run her steam vacuum head over them really fast. We can still see stain spots and grey shades where the carpets did not come clean. We don't know how a service company like Gator Clean stays in business. Had we done our homework and checked them out on YELP, we never would have called them.
