Besides getting some cute things for the baby girl, I also found some things for me too. I loved the notebook and craft aisle. I was able to find this really cool punch needle set! They also had moleskine notebooks. When you checkout, it's the typical HomeGoods/Marshall's/TJMaxx line filled with additional charming tchotchkes and a system that tells you which number cashier to go to. It's also located in a strip mall with tons of free parking. The highlight of the visit were the pet strollers (which I would've gotten if they were cheapers LOL). The shop is in a historic house where every room is filled with treasures. As you make your way up the narrow steps, the upstairs has all kinds of nooks and crannies and tiny alcoves filled with vintage pieces. I love the heavy wooden plank floors that creak beneath your feet. The four poster bed with the crocheted canopy is a sight to be seen. The fireplaces are decorated with beautiful candlesticks, garlands, pictures and mirrors. There are dozens of rush, cane, ladder-back, embroidered and weaved chairs. Several areas are stocked with shelves of bygone dish patterns and vintage pottery. Almost every railing is draped with gorgeous quilts and blankets. The walls along the stairs are filled with game boards including Parcheesi, checkers and chess, Chinese checkers, backgammon and carrom. I have several of these in my home and I love them! The Glass cloches are quite a find and there is a section of garden décor as well! I love the looms and spindles and other antique machines and tools. Owner Angela Lepore fills her shop with antiques, antiques she's refinished, and other random items she loves. The antiques here skew more toward affordable and fun, less toward stuffy and expensive. There's genuine antique furniture, as well as reupholstered pieces. One of my favorite purchases from French Garden is an old candelabra Lepore painted white, giving it a newly modern, cottage-chic appearance. It holds about 6 votives and makes a big statement for the price tag, which was around $30. French Garden Interiors also has lots of sales throughout the year.
