These three gentleman do not push you to purchase anything, they're easy going and friendly. They host wine sampling nights on Friday evenings. Update: 7/30/2018 Even after moving out of center square, I still travel down here from Saratoga Springs to purchase my wine. This store is a hidden gem, it may not be as big as empire wine or all star wine and liquors in Latham, but it has all the hard to acquire, high quality selections that nether store offers. For example, I can not obtain the 2014 Domaine Eden Pinot Noir anywhere else but Capital wines. Other stores sell the more expensive, the same vineyard Pinot noir but from the Santa Barbara location. This year marks their ten year anniversary in business, and they provide such a inspirational selection of high-quality wines, it's my personal favorite wine store when I'm buying wine for someone special, cheers :)

When I asked for them to the cameras, they had an employee go check and come back and say I didn't pay. another employee decided to look for the back on the video and see that I did pay and tell everybody like hey he paid for his Items. but employee who stopped me, was very rude and said just because the way I look, she could tell I stole from the store.

I found ciders here and there in the store, not grouped together. Since I am not a beer connoisseur, I couldn't say if their selection was good or even organized. I have been to other beverage centers in the area so I know what is "normal" and what is "a hurricane just went through here." I saw a lot of cool ciders and picked some up, as well as a case of sparkling water. There was a half-full (or half-empty?) cup of beer on one shelf, which I assume was leftover from a tasting event they ran two days ago. I saw one employee several times walking around and stocking. He never said a word to me when I came in, never asked if I needed help, or didn't thank me for stopping by. His only word was "yup" when I preemptively set out my ID. Maybe I came on a bad day, or maybe it is normal for this place. I dunno, but there are better options that I enjoy more so I doubt I will be back.

We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well!
