I asked if they put any parts in and they said no. I went home and the next morning it wouldn't start. I called and the front desk didn't seem to know what they had done to the car, but said they would take another look at it if I got it towed in. I decided to take it to somewhere else. I want to know what code came up if they did a diagnostic or any info they had on "what" they did to the car. The guy on the phone cound'nt help me or figure out what they had done and they said the mechanic wasn't in and was not picking up the phone when they called him. He also told me the owner told him to charge me 150.00 for bringing it in. I still don't have any answers as to what they did and why I was charged 150.00!! Other places I have been have the ability to look up what was serviced, and it felt very unprofessional that no one at the shop could tell me what service was done to my car. As of now they are going to "call me back". when ever they get ahold of the mechanic or he calls back. So in any attempt I have not gotten any answers from this place and 150.00 in the hole.

They also suggested removing the catalytic converter and installing a straight pipe . Not acceptable to me, as I'd have all kinds of warning lights on the dashboard. I returned to the house where I'm leaving my truck, my friend's neighbor has a welder and some exhaust pipe. I cut a piece of pipe to make a sleeve cut it length wise to expand it slipped it in my exhaust pipe and welded it up. 30 minutes later a superb repair. It'll be good until the muffler goes bad

We stopped in to switch the 6 month old tires from the front to the rear and to get 2 new tires for the front. Service staff "refused to use the front tires at all because they were too badly worn" so we were faced with buying 4 tires. Because the front tires were only 6 months old we held off on the appointment and drove back to Firestone figuring they must have a warranty for those "bad" 6 month old tires. Firestone examined them and said there was NOTHING wrong with the front tires! We only needed the 2 back tires replaced that were few years older. How many other unnecessary "repairs" do they scam people with?! We have lost all trust in dealing with Tire Pros service personnel.

Let me start here so you know I'm not a an unreasonable person or some "Karen". Myself and the…read morecompany I've been with (down the street) had used RMF for 9-10 years for services. Now, with their new management (Mr. K.) and the front desk Service Manager (Mrs. L.) they have lost our business and I would recommend anyone wanting a quote from them to run. They are what you fear most, being upsold every chance they can. You will work with 3-4 different people/mechanics all telling you something different. Here are the facts: I came in for my thermostat fan not turning off + noise in the front left of my truck. After "diagnosis" they "found" I needed a new oil pump, then it turned into they "found" I needed a new fuel pump. Once the work was completed, I realized my warranty was still active. Upon review of their diagnosis and old parts, the warranty company denied my claim. I then was told "Don't share pricing with them as I charged them more, to save money if covered" (Picture attached). This is fraud and is illegal. Their GM (Mr. K.) openly told me "we only added about $800 to the invoice we submitted to the warranty company". When meeting with (Mr. K.) I asked him what my invoice was at. He said "Well you don't need that differential tear down anymore, the mechanic was wrong, I drove it and it should just need front breaks and a wheel bearing." That would've been another $2300-$3k in work THAT I DID NOT NEED. All in all, new management does not put their customers first. They sell you on everything they can. As long as the front desk gal (L.) is there and the new GM is there (K.) good luck. They told me "we will be doing training so things like this don't happen again."

I would have posted this sooner but it originally ended up under the wrong location. So reposting now as I know my husband continues to have issues with this location as well. In summer of 2021 a service tech skipped an important part of my multipoint inspection during an oil change. I'd gone in for an oil change, rotation, and to have a wiper tightened down. They were having some time management issues and were unable to complete my requested tire rotation (which they did verbally tell me upon inspection completion when they came back to the waiting room with an update and said I also needed a new air filter which I agreed to have them fix at the time. They did not mention anything about not completing the brake inspection) I was under the impression that the oil change was smooth and all diagnostics/inspections were completed without any other issues. However I found out this was untrue. (Read on to see more about this issue) Fast forward two months, my jeep starts making some angry noises. I scheduled a pick up service to have it looked at. Someone was supposed to pick it up at 8 in the morning from my work location. An hour goes by and no one has arrived so I tried to contact and kept being placed on hold, an hour later I finally get through and they tell me I was never on the pick up list even though I had received multiple confirmations. She asked me if I still wanted someone to get it and of course I still needed it looked at so I agreed. An hour after that call someone shows up to get it even though I only work 8 minutes away. 12:50pm it finally gets checked in and not until 2:06pm do I get my first message about what's wrong. Apparently both rear brakes are bad and a caliper has seized. However, she quotes me on only a radiator leak and 4x4 service even though brakes are what I clearly need fixed asap I didn't get a price quote for them at all for some reason. At this point it's now 3pm and I tell her I just want a detailed quote and my jeep returned so I can go home since I'm stranded at work. 3:30 she tells me she will send a quote and charge me out for a brake inspection. I did not receive a bill until 4:36 (an hour later. Mind you the whole time I am now waiting to go home). I pay the bill and she says someone is on their way with my jeep at 4:38. A half an hour later someone finally shows up with my vehicle (again I only work 8 minutes away). The detailed quote I received was a bunch of print outs with hand written scribbled notes throughout so I had a hard time making much sense of it but came to the conclusion it was overpriced for value. I didn't understand how my brakes could be so bad if they passed the previous inspection without even a yellow notation or anyone letting me know they were close to needing a change so I pulled out my previous oil change inspection paperwork and wouldn't you know it, the entire brake section was incomplete. So I essentially drove on bad brakes for two months because someone didn't do their job causing my caliper to then also seize and then when I went to figure out what was wrong I was let down again when they forgot my appointment and gave me a run around all day. I decided after that mess I would let them know my frustrations and try to move forward. My husband chatted with the service department about all of this and they had nothing to say about it. We let things lie where they had fallen but I had my brakes fixed elsewhere at a much better rate. Knowing I had one more tire rotation left (since it didn't get used in my last oil change and I bought them in packages) I decided to go in once more and use it up with an additional oil change, only for them to tell me I had none remaining even tho they never actually used my last one because they cancelled the service. This was the final straw for me. I didn't want to argue with a company that clearly was having some organization/time management issues so I paid for it all and since then I've found service elsewhere. Such a bummer. Seems like once your warranty is up there they stop caring about you. I chalked a lot of this up to post COVID issues with employment but honestly, as I said in the beginning of this post we have yet to see much of any improvement as my husband continues to use them and is regularly disappointed. Anyways, unless your car is under warranty or still new I would avoid this service location.
