My wife has a level 9 pain and we were told to rush to the ER. They promised to get her some Tylenols while we waited and it's been over an hour and they seem bothered every time I ask for an update on the Tylenol. The employee who we are dealing with is Claire T. She refuses to give us updates or a Tylenol and seems annoyed every time I ask. She suspected I took a photo of her and within minutes a PA, an RN and multiple security personal were available to address this "pressing" issue. They couldn't find anyone to get my wife a pain killer for over an hour or see us for 5 hours but had no problem providing an RN for over 20 minutes to discuss their policies relating to photos. I do not recommend this place. Other ERs in the area don't have wait times and are much more helpful. Update: it's now 6 hours and we haven't seen a doctor yet. Update: it's now 7 hours and we have yet to see a doctor

EVERYONE was very caring and friendly. Again very busy with patients and computer change-over problems, still had time for questions and concerns and rapid response to needing help. First experience at this hospital and it surpassed those before. So glad it's fairly close to home.

I would really suggest having motorized wheelchairs available at the entrance.. there were none and I had to walk felt like a mile to x-ray, and then what felt like another mile to get out. And I know there are many people that are much older than me that struggle with the same problem.. if there was a way to let people know that if they have problem walking, they should be made aware of the distance to Imaging from the front entrance. Something important to consider to better show care for your patients ( customers) Lord knows we pay enough for it!! Disappointing!

During my November…read more2025 surgery at Corewell Beaumont Hospital my personal property disappeared from the Surgical Care Waiting Room. I've been trying, in vain, to get reimbursed ever since. Had my sister not rushed over on the day of discharge and brought me a new set of clothes, shoes and coat, I was afraid I may have gone home in my hospital gown. Until February 17, 2026 I had not even received a response from Beaumont Hospital-- Beaumont Hospital was ignoring me. However, before I went in for my scheduled surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Corewell Health notified me of their Estimated Hospital Fees, $82,000. But after my surgery, while repeatedly requesting replacement value for missing personal items ($729) while under Beaumont Hospital's care, they gave no response. Subsequently, multiple billing notifications continued to come through from Corewell Health demanding payment of a $26 balance. My loss was reported immediately during my hospital stay to the nurses, doctor, and security. The Beaumont Security Department had personally assigned a case number and an email address stating they would reimburse me. As requested, I emailed them my list of missing personal items and respective values NOT once, but 4 times. Beaumont Security never responded. On January 9, 2026, I called the Beaumont Patient Relations Department to report my still missing items and lack of response from Beaumont Security. They said they would respond in no later than 7 business days. But as of February 16, 2026, there was still no response, no update, or resolution from Patient Relations. I am not seeking special treatment--only reimbursement for items that went missing while I was under the hospital's care, and basic responsiveness from an institution that serves the public.

After he was done, he asked me what i wanted. I told him my husband need his blood drawn. He asked for my husbands date of birth and name and then told him to go sit and wait. I tried to explain to him that my husband was hard of hearing and he got nasty with me. I asked that he explain to the lab tech to speak loudly when she came out to call him. This old man told me "Oh he will hear her all right. She got a loud voice" He was really rude.

The lady at check in was also super sweet and very helpful getting my daughter checked in . Tiana was the nurse taking care of us before surgery and she was so good to my daughter and very generous. Sheila took care of us post surgery and the amount of knowledge and information she gave to prepare me for what to expect when going home was great and on point . I truly appreciated all the little tips she gave it helped smoothen out what can be a very hectic process. Overall from start to finish we felt welcomed and attended to with such ease. My mom was admitted to the ER for a bad fall with broken bones. She was well taken care of the…read moreentire time and her nurse Derek was professional and attentive and took his time with her. We had questions and he had the answers. She definitely had top notch care in the ER. She was moved to ICU in the north building, and again she had top notch care with attentive and helpful nurses. The doctors that saw her were all very nice and explained what was going on and answered any questions we had. The north building is the newest addition to the hospital and the rooms are very nice. She then was discharged from ICU and moved to the ortho floor to await the insurance authorization for in patient therapy. The rooms are definitely older and not quite as nice. I didn't like that the couch and tray table felt sticky, probably from being cleaned so often. Her end of the bed was broken but it didn't affect anything as far as her care. She grew tired of the hospital food and at times some of it was cold. The food services department seemed to be well run and organized and everyone was pleasant and courteous. We liked that they came directly to the room on this particular floor to take her orders for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Housekeeping did a nice job of keeping her room clean. All in all, it was a decent stay for her. P.S. if you have the My Chart app on your phone, you receive the test results as soon as they're posted which is very helpful.
