He claims that he…read morespecializes in diabetes, so he tells his diabetic patients that they do not need to see an endocrinologist, yet he can't put a patient on insulin when they very clearly need it, causing said patient to end up in the ICU twice in the span of a year for Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). Then he can't even be bothered to see the patient when they are in the ICU of the hospital that is LITERALLY across the street from his office. He also doesn't know anything about the long term effects from Covid (which I am aware many doctors do not since it is different from person to person), but discourages the patient from potentially getting well and having a better quality of life by going to the clinical trials for long term Covid. He also told said diabetic patient that a keto diet is bad.. a keto diet Is little to no carbs and that is what is recommended for diabetics!! Had he actually cared about this patients wellbeing, the patient would still be alive today. Sadly the patient passed last week from the second time of having DKA within a year due to the doctor not properly treating the patient and changing their medications at every visit. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from him and his "practice".

Not only does Dr. Stepanovic offer good medical care, he offers care. He's kept my mother alive, which is no small achievement. She's now 94. And my aunt has had several cardiac issues, and at 81, she is out and about and still enjoying life. What he offers that very few physicians offers is a level of care. He has tremendous interpersonal skills. He spends time with his patients. He remembers his patients. He takes extra time with his patients, so that they don't feel like the typical managed-care numbers. Another thing that impressed me is his understanding of how the medical-industrial complex works, and how he takes time to make sure his patients aren't swallowed up. When I accompanied my mother to her cardiology appointment this year, I needed some forms from him, because Mom was having another (unrelated) surgery. He sat down, then and there, and completed the forms. He told me, make sure to get his front desk staff to print them out and make a set of copies for me. He said that the surgi-center would surely want a copy of Mom's EKG. He emailed it while I was with him, and then he said, they're probably going to lose it. I'll give you a copy to take with you. (By the way, he was right. The surgery center DID lose the EKG. But because I had a copy with me, Mom's outpatient surgery was able to proceed on schedule.) Do you know how good this guy is? The nurses like him. I've been to the hospital often enough that I know to ask the nurses about the doctors, and boy oh boy, has that been helpful. No one has a bad thing to say about Stepanovic. He treats the surgical staff well, too. I highly recommend Zlatan Stepanovic, MD. I don't know the other physicians in his practice and can't discuss them. I just feel lucky we found this guy.

My Father-In-Law was transferred to this facility for difficulty breathing. After he was there…read morethey discovered multiple blockages in his heart. They decided, after a couple of days to do an angiogram. During this procedure, something came loose that caused a stroke, a grade 3, one of the largest strokes you can have. This facility is not prepared for stroke care, they offer none. So, if you pay attention to anything about strokes, once you have a stroke, the first hour is the MOST critical. It took FOUR hours (from the time the procedure for the heart started to the time they rolled my FIL into Community to try to start to remove the blockage for the stroke) for my FIL to be transported to Community hospital and then receive the treatment he needed to have the blockage from the stroke removed. By the time we laid eyes on my FIL, my husband and I just knew that it was too late and the damage had been done. Community did a great job on the following, but St. Mary's not being fully equipped to be ready for a stroke is where is all started. They should not be licensed to even perform these procedures. By the next afternoon, we had to make the decision to put my FIL on hospice. I would NEVER recommend this facility as they can't solve a problem if it arises. I hope no other family has to go through what we just went through. For the sake of your loved one's health, avoid this facility at all. During our time at Community, this is a full-service facility that is really like a Trauma Center, but is not actually "classified" as a Trauma Center. If it is at all possible, I would just go to Community.

My second doctor retired and now I have a really good younger doctor. Everything about this location makes me feel good about trusting my healthcare to the doctors that are staffed here. I am a transfer from another doctor who wouldn't…read moresee me because I have had 6 c spine fusion surgerie. other doctor feel my case to complicated but dr kaakaaji accepted me and then looked at my low back when I had difficulty walking and told me I would need something done but it was t severe enough to need surgery at that time. 6 years later and it was and I had a laminectomy at L4-5. prognosis is good and I will eventually need fusion surgery as well. I am glad he didn't rush like some doctors and waited till I was bad enough to need such a tough surgery.

You're demeanor is reflected to the patient in either a positive or negative perception of the doctor. Appointments should be kept in a timely manner. Patients should always be treated with respect & dignity! Dr.Favor is a good doctor with a handful of employees who are not a asset. A good work performance & additude goes a long ways. The bad reviews I have seen in the past is no doubt a reflection of the staff not the doctor.
