Birria tacos.

Great service and food. The Birris tacos were good but a little expensive for 3 tacos. They charge 12 dollars.

I am super happy to report that Gasoline Ray's still has $1 birria tacos for Taco Tuesday and $2 Tecates and the Yueling was like a dollar more. I love the atmosphere because people leave you alone, which is great because I'm not there for the conversation, I'm there for the food. My friend and I sat at the bar and the food was coming out fairly quickly and for some reason there were just chicks like us at the bar. I kept seeing the same orders coming out and asked them what they ordered and they said it was a hidden house menu item, the rolled tacos with birria sauce. Whoa, crunchy rolled flautas in the amazing birria sauce? Game on! Cut to the chase, it was really really good but super duper spicy! I'm a wimp and this had me crying and taking deep breaths to control the fire. One order came with 4 flautas and by my 4th one I couldn't taste them anymore over the burn. I believe it was $8 for an order. I'll come back, but until I build up a tolerance for spicy foods, I'll just stick to the $1 birria tacos on Taco Tuesday.

This little place could be so much fun but it's a bar rescue special. Kids working there were drinking and having a great time. The owner might find his profits dwindling.

Great place!! It's got a oldie rock dive bar. They have leather couches and a bar with old rock playing, nice vibe of the place and a license plate wall that really fits. Service is great, quite a wait on the day I went because they have the bartender running the room as well, but we got chips and salsa tray for the wait though. Love the service once ag We had a nice lunch though. Drinks were so good, got the cucumber margarita and the butterfly shrimp (lemon pepper). The shrimp was quite lemony but amazing.

This place is so damn cute. (I'm a woman, I say cute) I'm also an out of towner, but this just became my favorite place. The girls waiting on us were not only cute, but friendly, quick and made it all about you. The food was absolutely delish!!!! A must is the arrachera tacos!

Super welcoming staff and fun environment! El Paso's premiere dive bar, blows everything else out of the water. Try a pistachio shot and play your fav song on the jukebox for a good time!

It was a darn environment but the food absolutely makes up for it!! Besides, I work nights and prefer it that way!! The music was great too! The chaise were high tops.. I think I'd prefer the couches in the back! We had birilla tacos and got a burrito to go!! Love the tacos!!

More please! Special for the night: Chicken Panini.

New favorite place! While it says "dive bar" in the name, the decor and ambiance screams more so craft-beer place. Food is amazing!! Service is great! The owner is super-friendly ...he actually delivered our food to the table (the hottest (to the touch) that I've ever had food delivered!) We saw him also make the rounds and speak to each customer/table. Will definitely be back!!

I think solid is a perfect word for this place. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but not…read morethe worst. I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.

The serving was huge. Everything looked fresh. When I finished, man, was i full. Everything on that plate was excellent. Good flavor. The place was clean and the people were nice. I only had one day but when i come back in town , I would eat here again.

This occasion we tried the asada & al pastor tacos & we ordered a side of fries. The aguas frescas are also great! They served our food really fast even though the restaurant was packed, which is always a plus. The restaurant is really small, but they were expanding to the suite next door. Overall, GREAT food. Might be my favorite tacos in El Paso!

As I've explained to many of the locals there's a huge difference between New Mexico and Mexican food. I figured while I was in town visiting family for the holidays I'd check it out. Walking in I was surprised to see a full salsa bar that you can help yourself to a wide variety of salsas to choose from. We ordered a quesadilla, and some tacos. I started with the quesadilla. Boy do I love a good quesadilla! It was a love at first bite! The cheese was just oh so right. It was heaven between two tortillas. I quickly moved in on the tacos. I added some of the cilantro, green salsa, lime, and onions. The salsa was a little spicy but I savored every bite! It was a quite a delight! I gotta hand it to these guys, they make some great food! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!
