Easily a 20-30 minute ordeal during high times for commuter traffic. I think beginning of last year, they completely remodeled and reopened this Costco gas area. It was given multiple extra pumps, a much better flow for traffic, and the sensors for the pump areas so you know when to pull forward in line. Now when I stop here, I either pull up directly to a pump or maybe wait 5 minutes max. The worst time of day you will still only see a 5 to 10 minute wait. It has been absolutely worthwhile and I will now sometimes go out of my way to fill up here. Thank you for the upgrade, corporate!

The service clerk was friendly, the pumps were easy to use and one of the more reasonably priced in the city of Bakersfield. I always forget Foods Co is apart of the Kroger Company so your rewards and number for them will work at any affiliated. We save $0.20 on gas with my rewards. Fueling up so early in the day there was only one other car at any of the many pumps, so we had a easy time getting in and out and the space between pumps is so massive it would've been pretty easy regardless. If passing through, definitely pump up here!

I'm Still Recovering…read more As I was walking into Sully's on Ming, the one combined with Smith's Bakery, I overheard the manager talking to the cashier about a really nice review they had recently received online. They were talking about how professionally written it was and how excited they were about it. Naturally, I decided I needed to restore balance to the universe. I jokingly told the staff, "Well, I'm going online right now and giving you guys a ONE-STAR review. Because, as the Jedi always say, there must be balance in the Force." The staff behind the counter got a really good laugh out of that. Unfortunately, that's when things took a turn. The manager looked me dead in the eyes. I looked at her. She looked at me. And then... WE FOUGHT. What started as a simple joke about a one-star review immediately escalated into what can only be described as the most epic battle Sully's on Ming has ever witnessed. She unleashed her ancient Kung Fu powers. I attempted to defend myself using the only martial-arts technique I knew: panic. She hit me with a spinning back kick. I countered with the legendary "I'm Just Here to Buy Something" maneuver. She jumped over the counter. I dove behind the bakery section. Flour was flying. Chairs were flipping. Someone yelled, "NOT THE MUFFINS!" At one point, I swear I saw the spirit of Bruce Lee appear in the reflection of the freezer door and quietly shake his head at both of us. The battle raged on for what felt like seven seasons of an anime. Eventually, bruised, exhausted, and questioning every decision that had led me to this moment, I managed to escape with my life. But more importantly... I STILL WROTE THE REVIEW. And after everything I have been through, I have come to one undeniable conclusion: Five stars. Or maybe one star. Honestly, I'm not sure. The manager might have actually won. P.S. In all seriousness, the store team has always treated me professionally and respectfully every time I come in, whether I'm dressed for the office or dressed like I randomly decided to go play basketball on a weekday. Great facility, great team, and the bathrooms are always very clean. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the store. Five stars... a.k.a. maybe one star. On this most recent trip, I grabbed some Smith's smiley face cookies while putting some air in my tires. The perfect treat to reward myself for being a responsible motorist. Getting air was easy. Air is free at any California gas station and the Sully's staff were super nice when I asked them to turn on the air machine. The machine provided me with ample time to get all four tires to the right psi, and the parking spot makes it easy to reach all four tires with the hose. Though the lighting at the air pump parking spot can be a little tough at night, so I would recommend going in the day time for both visibility and safety reasons.

The apple fritter contains walnuts and I wasn't informed of that. Most apple fritters do not contain nuts. My co worker had to use her epi pen. When I called the store the young sounding girl couldn't have cared less, she stated very matter of factly that all smiths apple fritters have walnuts, as if someone who has never purchased one would know that. I called just to let them know to inform their customers but it fell Upon deaf ears... so buyer beware if you have a walnut allergy.

I am disabled and sent my special needs son in with a note that was polite and very detailed. I included the pin number for the debit card ask for $25 on pump five. Now she was able to charge my card but somehow she put it on pump nine I'm trying to pump and pump five she sticks her head out and yells it's on pump nine. Now pump nine for some reason is not on my side for my gas tank is. This station has odds and evens on the same side I've never seen this before. As she was telling me pump nine all of a sudden somebody rolled up to pump nine. I asked him not to pump on that pump until I have something straightened out inside. Well surprise surprise they pumped my $25 and yes I have no idea have any news that my what I said meant that I was incorrectly paid on that pump. I didn't have my walker with me so I sent my son back in with another note and he came back out saying she needed my card again. Sent the card in again and he came out and said she needed my pin number. I wrote a note again Asking her not to charge my card again if that's what she needed that for you stuck his head out and said no way. Next thing I know he comes out and starts pumping the gas just fine hands in my card and a receipt that she did charge my card again so now I've paid $50. $25 on pump five for me and $25 on pump nine for a complete stranger who of course when they got their free gas check off. Well I hobbled in without my walker and was told that it wasn't mine their fault it went on pump nine. I told her I had written part five and big large writing larger than the rest of the note was plain to see. I know she read the note because two sentences down from the pump number and the amount to put in was the pin number she had to have saw the pump number before the pin number. Along with the inefficiency and dare I say stupidity, this employee was very very rude. My son has done this in the last two years at several different gas stations in town and out of town and there has never been an issue or a problem. I urge you not to use aspirate to get your gasoline or any mini market store purchases
