Apparently this gas station also operates a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant inside selling grilled chicken, ribs, etc! It looked so good we had to grab a couple orders to take with us! And the prices were cheap too! $8.99 for a chicken meal with rice, beans and tortillas and $9.99 for ribs along with the same sides. Food was tasty, can't beat it! No wonder this store was so popular!!

Easily a 20-30 minute ordeal during high times for commuter traffic. I think beginning of last year, they completely remodeled and reopened this Costco gas area. It was given multiple extra pumps, a much better flow for traffic, and the sensors for the pump areas so you know when to pull forward in line. Now when I stop here, I either pull up directly to a pump or maybe wait 5 minutes max. The worst time of day you will still only see a 5 to 10 minute wait. It has been absolutely worthwhile and I will now sometimes go out of my way to fill up here. Thank you for the upgrade, corporate!

The employees who work the fuel station are very helpful, this is when you forget your Costco card, prior to everything being digital, all my with if the machines aren't working. Every time I go inside to pay or indulge myself for a lotto ticket the staff is always very friendly and they have all the usual suspects for a quick stop mini mart. Sodas, coffee, chips, snacks and some other specialty items I saw that they advertise on the door. One thing I've partake in was their touch less car wash. Which I'm impressed with. You drive into and this little screen prompts you to slowly drive in as it sprays off your car the tell you to stop and put your car in park. Then the machine does the rest without touching your car. All done with high powered sprayers and then when done you get to drive through a 2 minute blow dry. And it's a buy 4 get one free with a card they give you and the punch for you. Worth it I think. The whole thing takes about 5 minutes. I just couldn't give 5* because the gas isn't cheap enough for this to be my go to place for fill ups. In a pinch it's handy.

The service clerk was friendly, the pumps were easy to use and one of the more reasonably priced in the city of Bakersfield. I always forget Foods Co is apart of the Kroger Company so your rewards and number for them will work at any affiliated. We save $0.20 on gas with my rewards. Fueling up so early in the day there was only one other car at any of the many pumps, so we had a easy time getting in and out and the space between pumps is so massive it would've been pretty easy regardless. If passing through, definitely pump up here!

But today was a different experience. I accidentally locked my Keys in the car with my child in it. They came to the rescue so fast and utilized all of the resources to help me open up my car safely, quickly, efficiently. The apple fritter contains walnuts and I wasn't informed of that. Most apple fritters do not contain nuts. My co worker had to use her epi pen. When I called the store the young sounding girl couldn't have cared less, she stated very matter of factly that all smiths apple fritters have walnuts, as if someone who has never purchased one would know that. I called just to let them know to inform their customers but it fell Upon deaf ears... so buyer beware if you have a walnut allergy.
