She said, hang on I think I can make something happen for you. She got a car for the whole trip! Secondly, the whole process is a breeze! You pay ahead and get a confirmation email with all the info you could need, a map to get from the ferry to your vehicle (a very short walk), and a code to get in the car. They even have a sticky note with your name on the window. No waiting around in line, signing a bunch of stuff, like a corporate rental company. When you drop it off you just fill it up and leave it where you found it. I don't know if all the vehicles are like this but it was a hybrid so spent barely any money on gas! Would recommend them a million times over!

My husband and I have rented our fair share of vehicles from Enterprise and other companies, but the customer service at this location was probably the best we've ever encountered from a car rental facility. We definitely won't rent a bigger truck next time - a lot of places we went were designed for smaller vehicles. But I definitely would rent from this location again.

Outside of the airport terminal building, in the rental pick-up area, there is a sign that includes the Enterprise telephone number to request a shuttle pick up. Our driver arrived in less than 10 minutes. Of course, the shuttle is free. Both check-in and check-out are fast and painless. Our vehicle was ready as soon as we entered the facility. We were in and out in roughly 3 minutes. Outstanding! Just as important, we were charged exactly what was quoted, unlike Hertz (in Calgary), which charged close to $100 more than quoted.

We didn't even have to do the usual walk-around the car to note any dings and scratches. We also had the pick of our car. Of courses, at $60/day during peak season, it's a little spendy for a small economy car rental, but this being San Juan Island...with only three other car rental places available...well...you get the idea. We had booked a rental in advance and arrived around opening time, and the store already had one other customer. Check in was easy and socially distanced (we are not allowed to enter the store and conducted business with the owner, who was inside at her computer). Pens were sanitized and masks were mandatory. After checking into the business on Yelp, I inquired about our "free latte offer" which came with the check in - which in turn surprised the owner, who admitted that she'd forgotten about the offer that was years old and instead gave us a pack of hand wipes that she was selling in her store (much more appreciated!) The car worked fine - got us where we needed to go - up and down and around the island while passing hapless people trying hard to get up a hill in their red buggy or scooters, inhaling our exhaust fumes. We returned the car same day, no questions asked. Also, a nice walking distance from the Friday Harbor marina and close to the main street.

Employees are friendly and drop off was a breeze. My only complaint was all the one way streets surrounding this location. Took an extra 10-15 minutes to navigate all the one way streets to get into the parking structure. Give yourself extra time. Overall great experience.

"I'm Going Slightly Mad" - Queen…read more This location was our return for the rental from SEATAC to downtown Seattle, for a 6-hour rental. We forked out the $69.00 rental for the day as we wanted to explore the city before checking into our hotel, and go shopping. It was also nice as my husband and son used the car as a crash pad to catch some ZzzzS while I was parked at Pike Market Place and went shopping alone. The return wasn't as smooth as the pick-up from the airport as the street signs were CONFUSING as heck. No left turn except for buses onto 3rd, what??? We circled around and around using Waze app due to multiple one-way streets. The entrance to Alamo for the garage wasn't really marked, either. It was the Twilight Zone. After about a stupid and ridiculous 20- minute drive being stuck on one-way streets and circling around and around, I said, "screw this! I am turning LEFT!" Once into the building, there were no signs, so we drove up a few flights to an Alamo booth and idled the car, wondering what to do. There were no signs, did I already say that? There was a lone woman in a booth talking to what appeared to be a customer. I had to get out of the car to ask her what to do, and she said we could just park the car. She was nice, though. You need sleuthing skills to return a car here. Convenient, but only if you know what you are doing.
