Excellent car rental facility, with a friendly staff and clean cars. The rental office is conveniently located minutes away from the airport. Outside of the airport terminal building, in the rental pick-up area, there is a sign that includes the Enterprise telephone number to request a shuttle pick up. Our driver arrived in less than 10 minutes. Of course, the shuttle is free. Both check-in and check-out are fast and painless. Our vehicle was ready as soon as we entered the facility. We were in and out in roughly 3 minutes. Outstanding! Just as important, we were charged exactly what was quoted, unlike Hertz (in Calgary), which charged close to $100 more than quoted. read more

We booked a truck in February, right after Snow-pocalypse 2019. The nice people at this facility picked us up at the ferry terminal and gave us a voucher for a cab ride back to the terminal since we had to drop off the truck before the facility opened for the day. My husband and I have rented our fair share of vehicles from Enterprise and other companies, but the customer service at this location was probably the best we've ever encountered from a car rental facility. We definitely won't rent a bigger truck next time - a lot of places we went were designed for smaller vehicles. But I definitely would rent from this location again. read more

Flying into the airport in Sydney is a beautiful experience, especially for someone from a big, metropolitan area like the San Francisco Bay. You step off the little plane and down the roll up stairs (yes, they still use those), are greeted by a happy Canadian officer who points you into the terminal and through customs. Once out, off you go find your car rental stand. Mind you, this is not LAX. The airport is *very* tiny and within steps you see the wall of car rental agencies. I always use Enterprise because I get a discount through the Dramatists Guild, but even if I didn't get a discount I would still use them for the customer service. But wait... We go to the desk, tell them we have a reservation, they say they're a bit sparse on cars but will work us into something nice. After some kind chit chat and easy paperwork, we're off to the curb to wait for our "shuttle" to the car. A minivan pulls up and the most delightful fellow steps out, greeting us like we're his long lost relatives. He heaves our bags into the back, invites us to step in and we take the 20 minute ride having a conversation straight out of a make-believe novel. The man lives more than an hour away and drives down each morning to shuttle people back and forth to their cars. His thick accent makes his speech difficult to understand sometimes, but he's so charming that it doesn't matter. He's been working for the company longer than he remembers and relishes meeting new people every day. He's so interesting that I almost ask him to drive around the block again just so I can listen to more of his stories. As we pull into the off-site location where the cars are stored I count a whopping four cars in this little dirt lot surrounded by cheap fencing. A white rabbit scurries across the lot as we step up to the trailer and are greeted by two college-student looking boys nicely dressed in suits. They upgraded us to the finest car on the lot, gave us a better discount than expected and a card for a free day the next time we come back. Now this is what customer service is all about!! That was our first experience here. The other four times were just as good and interesting, but you'll have to wait for the update to hear about those. read more

The only reason for going with Enterprise was because of the really great rate I got through Costco Travel. When I was wasting time away at the Seattle airport, I booked a car through Costco and it was going to be ready for pick up when I arrived in Victoria. This Enterprise office is the only car rental place that isn't at the airport terminal. There are plenty of other national car rental brands inside the terminal, but you have to take a "shuttle" to the Enterprise place. Their shuttle is basically a mini van which can only seat five people. The shuttle stop is directly across the street from the arrival terminal and there's a sign there telling you to call a number for pick up. So if you don't have a phone, you're out of luck. Luckily enough for us, the group waiting was only five people. But when we were leaving, a group of people asked for a ride and the guy said he'd be back whenever he could to grab them. So pretty much I found the reason why this place's prices were lower than the competitors, very inconvenient to pick up and drop off the car. The Victoria Enterprise branch is basically a shack on the side of Canora Rd. which is very close to the 17 highway. The staff here is friendly and did a great job of being very fast at processing my car. I was literally in and out of there in ten minutes tops down the road. The car was clean, worked very well and I didn't have any issues with it. When dropping it off at the end of the trip, the guy inside simply drove us in the car and dropped us off at the airport. Even though it's not on site, its very close. I'd go with Enterprise again, just for the cheap rate Costco got me. read more

We have been to Vancouver Island 3 out of the past 4 summers, and have used Enterprise each time. We have had great service each time. We have never had any problems with the shuttle. The office is just about 1 mile from the airport door, and the wait time for the shuttle is just a few minutes, a lot less than at most airports. Last time, we had a choice of 3 different cars: A Mazda and a Fiat 500 (plus something else comparable in size). There are three in my family, so I said if the luggage fit, we would take the Fiat. That was a great decision, and made the whole trip much funner! 3 Bags can fit in the Fiat and since we were mostly staying in one place that was fine. My Middle-School aged daughter had plenty of room in the back by herself, and we had lots of fun tooling around in a stylish and sporty car. The staff are always very courteous and helpful, just like at every other Enterprise. THANKS Enterprise!!! read more

Picked up a car upon my arrival after sunset, vehicle inspection document reported no damage or stone chips, kiosk agent refused to conduct standard visual inspection given it was 11:00 PM so what else could I do but take his word. The following day I noticed a small chip below the windshield wiper blade and thought nothing of it and on return of the vehicle, again they weren't interested in conducting a physical visual inspection. 3 days later I receive a phone call demanding that I pay for the replacement for a new windshield. I politely explained the situation and the manager raised his voice at me and said he was going to charge my credit card and that was final and hung up on me. I rented a car from Enterprise, and will rent from them whenever I can in future. I took the ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, British Columbia. . As requested, I called Enterprise 15 minutes before the ferry landed, and an Enterprise driver met us as we exited the ferry terminal building. It took 10 minutes from ferry terminal to the Enterprise office, 5 minutes for the paperwork, and we were on our way. We were given an upgrade at no additional cost. When we returned on a Sunday, we arrived 10 minutes after closing time.. An employee was still there, called a taxi as he saw us drive into the lot (there being no one to shuttle us to the ferry terminal after closing time), gave us a chit for the taxi, graciously did the paperwork to close out the rental, and we got back to the ferry terminal in good time. It was an effortless experience which I will repeat next time I go to the island. read more

This is NOT located at the Victoria Airport. During the day, that would not be a problem. However, we had to return the car at 3:30am for a departing flight. Enterprise is not open so they had given us a voucher for Yellow Cab back to the airport. Even though that is inconvenient, it would have been okay except Yellow Cab didn't show up even though we had scheduled the pick up the day before. After calling Yellow Cab dispatch when the cab didn't arrive, we were informed that we were second in line. We later (much later) received a text from Yellow Cab that the pick up had been cancelled because the driver couldn't find the location. That was not very helpful in getting to the airport at 3:30 am. :( read more

I used Enterprise for the first time in Victoria. I visit the island every year. It is the only car rental off airport but the driver was very quick in picking me up. It was a very quick process for check in and I was upgraded. The only issue I had was they had loaded my luggage into someone elses car. I did not realize my luggage was not in my car until I reached my destination. The saving grace was Dave, the driver, picked my missing bag up from the other renter and drove it out to me - about an hour and a half drive. read more

I was hesitant to rent from Enterprise as they were not directly on-site at the Victoria airport, but after my experience I would definitely rent here again. A shuttle was waiting for me directly outside the airport when I arrived and called the number provided, the rental location was less than a 5 minute drive away, and I was provided exactly the car requested. The return experience was the best I've ever had, with staff literally walking up and inspecting the car as I was parking in their lot, and the receipt was ready for me as soon as the engine was shut off. Pleasantly, the cost was a few dollars less than quoted, and I was driven to the airport right away, arriving less than 10 minutes after parking! I may have caught them on a really good day during a slow time of year, and I don't know what it's like picking up or returning a car outside of normal business hours, but I personally found their staff fast, efficient and very friendly. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Enterprise in Victoria. The customer service representative at the airport gave us an 800 number to call for the shuttle and the driver was there within minutes. We rented a very nice midsize SUV with only a few thousand miles, and all the people we dealt with made the pick up and drop off quick, efficient and pleasant. read more

The team at this location was seriously the best. They are all helpful, kind and patient! Tess played with our 2 year old while we installed the car seat and gave him a call he played with in the park the next day. So, our initial experience was great. They picked us up from the airport and everything was very fast and efficient. However, it all went downhill when we had to return the vehicle. We got to Enterprise and they were taking care of a couple of customers ahead of us so we took our luggage out of the car when one of the employees proceeded to tell us to leave our baggage in the car and one of the workers will drive you to the airport. We did so and continued to wait patiently. I went in to say that we were returning the vehicle and the man said to just wait outside by the car and we will be right with you. After two interactions with separate employees we were still waiting even though the employees were not helping any other customers. Then, new customers pulled into the lot and the workers immediately went to them and serviced them before us even though we were waiting for 15 minutes before they even arrived. So I went inside to ask if someone was going to take us to the airport. That is when the woman employee started yelling at me that she had no idea what we were doing and was pretty much blaming us for her not knowing we were waiting. I told her two employees told me to wait outside and she proceeded to yell at me so I just walked away. At the car my daughter asked who she was yelling at and I said ME. Another employee came and drove us to the airport immediately afterwards. I would not have written this review as my overall experience was fantastic until the lady employee started yelling at me for something that I should have been upset with her at. read more

A lot has changed since the review I just saw in 2010. Enterprise is now off site. I understand their decision because it costs $ to rent space in the airport but apparently they cut back all the way around. We waited with another family for about 1/2 hour for the van to come get us and it was a a small mini van that couldn't handle both families. We stayed behind and got coffee (at the Enterprise representative's cost) to wait for him to return which he said would be about 20-25 minutes. We waited about 40 and was picked up by another person in an SUV. We were STUNNED to find the Enterprise location to be about 3-4 minutes away! They did give us a nice upgrade to that SUV he picked us up in and gave us a $50 credit (instead of paying me for the coffee) for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, it was a business trip where we were inconvenienced but my company reaped the reward. The people were friendly and bent over backwards to make the situation right but their staffing was so low they couldn't even handle two customers! I love Enterprise BUT DON'T RENT AT THIS LOCATION!!!! read more
