I have never left someone alone in my home before while they worked, but fully trusted both him and his partner Aaron(?) while I ran out a couple different times. They aren't even completely finished with all of the projects I hired them for, but I am so thrilled and looking forward to hiring them again for some more things. Some comments from loved ones: "Looks good!" "wow all I can say is wow nice" "Looks SO much better!!!" EDIT: Complete! Adding some awful before pictures, and awesome after!! (new tile, new paint, new vanity install with backsplash flawlessly installed separately since wasn't included, light/fan switches redone, new mirror, new lighting, rehung picture, new showerhead, new towel bars, toilet reinstalled (due to removal for flooring))

I cross-posted this review on his facebook page…read more I do think Mike is a good guy, but i'm very disappointed in the job i hired him for and would not recommend him. The paint job his guy did was very poor quality as confirmed by several individuals-- 1. my wallpaper installer in the same room, 2. my neighborhood sherwin williams, 3. another professional in the business. I called Mike to express disatisfaction and he blamed me for 'choosing' the Sherwin Williams paint (color/sheen) that i did but at no point did he advise me otherwise that it would be a problem (funnily enough, Sherwin Williams pointed out to me that the sheen on the can he used/left at my house was even different than i requested). To be fair, Mike did return once to 'fix' the job his guy did and he shared that the man who painted our room only worked that one day and how hard it's been for him to find help which i sympthatize with greatly. At the end of the day, I still paid for a very sub-par paint job, that i end up re-doing, and want my money back. My main complaint was that the paint was scratching off/peeling off the baseboards with very little effort (although the whole room was pretty streaky). My husband I redid the whole room ourselves over the course of 3 days with the help of a friend and now was so much MORE work because now we had to sand the baseboards from the flaky/peeling paint he used. i'm including photos to show the peeling off. A day before we were re-doing the room, i texted Mike again to let him know that we were re-doing the paint job because his company's work was NOT good and i didn't get any response back. If yelp lets me post photos, i will. I did post on the comments section of my FB review here: https://www.facebook.com/MCMIKECUSTOMPAINTING/reviews

They went above and beyond, adding a third coat of paint to certain areas where it was needed, as well as, touching up a small area in the bathroom that wasn't even a part of the job scope. It's amazing how a fresh paint job can transform a house. I requested several quotes from various…read morecompanies before finally selecting Thomas Painting. Each company rep I met with was very personable, provided very detailed quotes and quite frankly were all priced very similarly. Paint brands were comparable across all quotes too. That said, the combination of numerous positive reviews (most on Google) plus the reasonably priced proposal finally sealed the deal with Thomas Painting. Plus, they had an opening that aligned with the timeframe that I was aiming for. Terrence, Jason and Stephania did a high quality job with our interior painting job. They were extremely polite, professional, prepped everything prior to painting and cleaned up daily. Each person was responsive to all questions, concerns and accommodated additional color selections. Terrence also had additional people on site a few days to ensure the job was completed within the projected timeframe. If you're deciding between painting yourself vs. getting it professionally done, do yourself a favor and just go for it! What Terrence and his team completed within a week would have probably taken us numerous weekends spanning several months (or in our case, postponed indefinitely). Having the house professionally painted was 100% worth the money. Overall, their work exceeded our expectations and I no longer cringe when I look at my baseboards! Every member of my household is beyond pleased with the end result. I will not hesitate to reach out again when we need the exterior painted too.
