I'm nearing 40 and have had a lifetime of dental woes. It's in my genes, I guess. I've been to…read moreinnumerable dentists. One of which I stayed with for 10 years. I know dentists. Dr. Clausius and his team are smart, efficient, and not trying to squeeze money out of you like some other doctors I have dealt with. I mean, seriously, today the man corrected a weak bond tooth created by an oral surgeon and didn't even charge me for another doctor's error! I have an in-process implant going on right now, so I need a temporary implant cover that can last for more than a couple weeks...but I digress. Dr. Clausius agreed to squeeze me into the schedule on a day when we both had busy schedules. Academic exams for me, dental exams for him. He not only allowed a short notice visit, but he did not charge me for the visit despite the urgent nature. I feel safe here and I will plan to sign my daughters up for care here next. This is a genuine family doctor, with emphasis on family. Thanks to my husband for recommending this place. The secretary is genuinely nice and all the techs so far are great. Whoever had a bad experience here probably wasn't thinking straight. Thanks!

I prefer dentists with more of a wait and see method when it comes to cavities, and that's their style. Any fillings have been near painless, and I've had my share (unfortunately!). I'll miss them as I just moved out of state. Go here!

After two appointments with Generations Dental, I requested my records and transferred to another…read moredentist. The practice used false-color images of my teeth to try and convince me that a patch on the rear of an upper molar needed to be removed due to decay and a crown put in its place. (An expensive procedure not fully covered by my insurance, even 'in-network'.) My first appointment with my new dentist confirmed that there is no actual decay, and that the removing the patch is not necessary...at least not yet. Furthermore, the dentists are not respectful of my hearing disability. My instructions to them of what to do to ensure accurate communication--how to speak to me during procedures when my hearing aids are out--were frequently ignored. It is not acceptable to respond to hearing impaired persons by saying things like: "Don't worry...," "It's OK...," or "...not important." Individuals with hearing disabilities are not to be treated like children. This practice functions like a "dental procedure factory," and I would look around before engaging them as your dentist.

Not the case when he sees Dr. Frady. Our pediatrician has asked out loud what her secret is! The office is perfect for kids of all ages. There's a TV in the waiting room as well as a play area. The kids can watch a movie on an iPad while they're tipped back having their teeth cleaned. There are toys to play with while waiting for x-ray results and the kids get a token for the toy machine after their appointment. Significant to me is that you can go back in the exam room with your child. There are some pediatric dentists who make it a rule that parents must stay in the waiting room. Most importantly, Dr. Frady and her team truly seem to love children! I make no secret of the fact that I think my son has the best dentist ever!
