I saw Georgia the first time I had my teeth cleaned. Georgia dropped the suction apparatus on the floor. She picked it up off the floor, & put it directly back in my mouth. I told the front desk that I never wanted to see that hygienist again. The front desk person said that someone changed my appointment back to Georgia. I asked to speak to Dr. Salah. He was unable to talk to me as he was between patients. The manager Mindy came out & asked me if I would stay, I could get my teeth cleaned by Kim at 2PM, then I could talk to the dentist at that time. I was already told by the front desk person that if I waited until 2PM I could then get my teeth cleaned. Approximately 25 minutes later Mindy came out & told me that Kim couldn't stay, but she would have Dr. Salah call me as soon as he was done. All of this was done in front of other patients with no care being taken by the staff. By 6PM I tried calling but the practice was closed. I never recieved a call back from Dr. Salah. This dentist was refered to me by numerous family members. I still can't believe I was treated this way.

I had lost 3 teeth that had been previously crowned in the last month. But part of each tooth still remains in my mouth. I haven't been feeling well at all since I lost the teeth, I knew that I probably had an infection. I saw Dr Shah and he is wonderful! I had filled out my new patient paperwork before my appointment. Dr Shah actually took the time to really review everything I had documented. Instead of doing all the paperwork and then the Dr walks into the room and asks you, "what are you here for?". You know they haven't even looked at all the information you have carefully taken the time to provide them. I WANT A DR TO BE FAMILIAR WITH MY SITUATION before walking into the room to see me. I don't want to spend my appointment time re-explaining everything I've already provided. Dr Shah did exactly that. Because he had reviewed my paperwork, he knew what scans and X-rays were needed to be done before he saw me. Everything is there in his office. The staff is amazing, very kind and empathetic to your condition. When Dr Shah walked into the room, he was fully informed and I didn't have to repeat my previous horror story of dental procedures. He reaffirmed that indeed I had a massive infection in my mouth and it was making me very ill. I needed to have ALL the remaining teeth on the bottom extracted. However, I needed to get rid of the infection first. Unfortunately my insurance won't let Dr Shah do the extraction. They want me to go to a totally different oral surgeon. Did I mention how much I hate medical insurance??? I hate that they have the power to dictate who and what care we receive. Once I the infection is gone and my teeth extracted, I will return to Dr Shah's office for the denture making and maintenance. Dr Shah will be my forever dentist as long as my insurance will cover him.

We tried for hours to reach the office but couldn't get through due to phone system issues. When we finally connected, Dr. Cohen questioned why my son hadn't come in earlier and said he could see him Monday. He suggested a local oral surgeon near my son's school, but that office was closed. We had to rely on urgent care and hospital staff for help. My son ended up in the hospital for 5 days. During that time, no one from the office checked on him, and when I spoke with Dr. Cohen, he mentioned phone problems and being busy moving over the weekend. He also said we should have gone to a hospital where he had privileges, which we were never told about. While complications can happen after surgery, the lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and compassion from this office was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this practice.
