Some friends of mine back East tell me that waiting for forty five minutes to ninety minutes to see a doctor is the norm. The office ladies are nice and cheerful. Dr Babbitt suggests the typical tests women and men should have but does not insist you have them. He just leaves it up to the patient. He's smart , knows what he's doing but very laid back. I'm comfortable with Dr Babbitt. I saw him recently for UTI. He sent, immediately a prescription for Bactrim. Five days later I felt better but not as much as I thought I should. His nurse called me and said the urinalysis showed that my UTI would be resistant to Bactrim and they called in a prescription for Amoxicillin and said to throw out the Bactrim. I am so appreciative of this personal attention to my test results.

I can contact them by email, phone or in person and I always get great service. She shares the office with a chiropractor so I'm guessing that's why Yelp had her under that category. She is a family practice doctor. Her Technician Lisa is fantastic, thorough and pleasant. The reception staff are wonderful. Doctor Bessonett spends time talking to her patients and gets to know them individually. She accepts several different insurance carriers. 5 stars!!

Dr Gatson is the sweetest, most compassionate and knowledgeable physician I have ever used, and she…read morehas been my primary physician for over a decade. I can't ever remember a time when she was out of the office, even though it is expected on occasion as she is human. What I like most about Dr Gatson is how she sits down and truly listens, even though she may be typing on her laptop during our conversation. I understand that. Otherwise, she may forget some of the details of our conversation. She is a great diagnostician, but never fails to refer you out to a specialist if necessary. The medications she has prescribed to me seem on point. I've never had ANY complaints against this physician. EVER. I wouldn't hesitate to refer any of my family and friends to Dr Gatson. As far as I am concerned, she ranks as one of the very best. Oh... I almost forgot to add... this may be important to those who only have a limited time to see the doctor. You might have somewhat of a long wait to get called back to an exam room. And then another wait in the exam room. This wait does not bother me, as I know she is only spending one on one time with her other patients and to me, that is what it's all about. Because then I know I'm going to get that same thorough attention. I always clear my morning or afternoon when I have an appointment with Dr April Gatson. And lastly, but certainly not least, her nurse, Daisy, is sweet and takes good care of me. He is a very good doctor, he covers everything you need to discuss. He doesn't rush you, he is actually the opposite (very thorough in his treatments) which I appreciate. I always feel safe under his care. His staff, mainly Melissa,is the best around. She is caring and friendly and helps with everything in her power. She and Dr Wyrick make the best team. They are both very dear to me. If you need a good primary doctor, contact them.
