Foster children have very challenging and ever changing lives that require flexibility for all parties. All Smiles Family Dental treated my son like a 2nd class citizen like so many others have. If it's ever a wonder why inner city children have some of the worst dental hygiene issues of any demographic, it probably starts with places like Family Dental that show a lack of grace and flexibility to the least of these. As I was lying in the chair with my hands dipped in paraffin (a free service!) and aromatherapy mist wafting around, they found bonding cement on my teeth from braces that I had 15 years ago that no one else had ever seen. I'd thought for all of that time that I had a weirdly-shaped tooth, but it turns out that it was just a huge lump of cement that the orthodontist had left on! I can't say enough. The office was pushing me to join some fluoride program i wasn't sure i needed I had a bad feeling in my gut and decided to drive 45 mins to Dr Kennedy as I trusted him over a period of several years. I was so thankful to reach my safe haven because Dr Kennedy checked me and said I definitely didn't have any type of gum disease and only needed one crown for a chipped tooth. I mentioned to Lindsey his hygienist how lucky I felt to get honest advice from Dr Kennedy. She replied she has seen time and time again patients making the same comment. She joked she loves the office and trusts Dr Kennedy so much they would have to force her out to leave her job. You can tell she respected him as much as I did.
