Pete then did the final calibration (auto-pilot and radar). First, I am extremely pleased with the new system - the Raymarine Axiom displays are awesome. I've had a look at the wiring installation, it is absolutely professional. I brought the boat to Oriental for the installation - good move as their offices were just around the corner and it made getting the odd connection easy for them (saving time, too). Due to a few complications, I had to leave Oriental before the calibration was done, but Pete was good about coming to Bath, NC and helping me with the cal. That took longer than expected since Pete had to figure out a place to mount the autopilot compass so it wasn't affected by boat iron. He got it done and the system is working perfectly.

I told him and he then told me that 4 screws were missing, a film that was suppose to be behind the button at the bottom and the screen was missing behind the speaker at the top. Well the items that I told Shawn was missing he had a comment about each item. Then he took an old phone out of the trash and said the only way it could of broke is if you slam it down like this. He slammed it down on the floor in front of me, how unprofessional it was to do that and also just call me a liar right there in front of his mom or mother in law that was standing there the whole time. He asked me what do I want him to do. I told him that I wanted him to make it right. He said he would cut me a check. I told him that I would even pay for the glass, he said no he was going to refund the whole amount. He looked at my husband in which he didn't say anything because I was dealing with it and asked him should he send the check to his work. Shawn does business with the place where my husband works. He also said that he had some wood at one of his sites that had dirt on it and he didn't know how that happen and he was going to send it back to my husbands work. My husband replied okay. Now keep in mind my husband was not involved in it this time he didn't even say a word. How unprofessional was that. Well, it's probably been about 2-3 weeks and I haven't received a check yet. I probably won't never see it. I will let everybody know what Shawn did to me.
