I had a stock sound system, nothing that was beyond the legal limit. I spent the night in jail and they ruined my start on life as a young adult, it was hard to get a job and I could no longer go to O'Connor events to see my younger siblings grow up and play sports for the school. These officers were tyrants and ruined many children's lives and futures, they should be ashamed. They even took me back to the school and handcuffed me to a chair in their office for 3 hours while my wrists bled & called in head coach Maleskey, who screamed and spit in my face. These individuals are a disgrace to the O'Connor name.

They provide tutoring and weekend work time for low students. They support students who need AP classes as well. Administration returns calls when requested. In a time where parents can be pretty demanding, I felt they were great and work hard. Much appreciated.

Wow! This school is HUGE!!…read more It's probably a nice school, but bringing a child from private school, I've found it hard to remain "in the loop." E-mails are fired out at rapid-fire pace, but some of them leave a newbie bewildered. I'm writing this review in December, and I still feel completely disconnected from the school. Ronal Reagan is certainly one of the more desirable schools in San Antonio, but, if you want to get connected, you'll have to work at it. Good luck!!

The kids at that school were mean lots of pushing and cussing plus the threats that were made to beat up the girls at our school. It was horrible and some parents supported. So much disrespect and letting the kids act like that will do no good for anyone... But I will say I liked the bleachers and we need them at our school.

With that being said, it was their first year being open, so there was minor hiccups, but nothing we found to be a problem. The Great Hearts curriculum and culture is exactly what we thought it would be. My daughter never spent more than 30 minutes on homework each day, and we felt the uniform policy was easy to follow. The other big factor for us was the community. When you go to Great Hearts Invictus, it's not just a school, it's a community that spends time together and really builds relationships. I loved this! I dove right in and have been pretty involved with the school, and I found this to be useful to know what's going on and be able to be present for certain things. I have recommended this school to family/friends, and I will continue to do so.

But let me tell u from a student perspective, your kid will get bullied, and ur kid will come home every day a little more depressed. I recommend avoiding this school and only using it as a last resort. It is very unorganized, and the expectations for the students are unreasonably high. They expect perfection every time and the punishments are severe if you don't meet the exact criteria... It literally strikes fear into the hearts of the students. and while i agree that some degree of fear is good, i also believe that the amount of fear that this school gives is a dangerous amount. And while i will give this school credit for having a phenomenal course and teachings, but in the end, the cons outweigh the pros, by A LOT. My advice for elementary kids if u do go: Just follow the rules, keep ur head down, and don't cause a commotion. My advice for middle school kids if you do go: STAY AWAY FFROM THE GIRLS THERE, they are VERY toxic... and my advice for high school kids if u do go there: Find a girlfriend quick before all of them are taken and just go through the depression great hearts gives you together. Pls stay away from the school but if you do end up going... follow my advice. I warned you. - Reed Mac

I like the safety and security of knowing someone can't just walk into the school whenever they want, and I like how they treat the students like adults and keep them informed of any changes and not just depend on the adults to let the kids know whats up. The teachers are very understanding and give students time to complete assignments they didnt have time to cover in school. Not all schools are that understanding.
