I love this school! I feel like the education is top notch and their policy is spot on.

I've carried this for years, but I feel it's time to speak up about what happened to me while…read moreworking for Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, TX as a bus driver between 2011-2013. During my time there, I was falsely accused of sexual harassment by two older male employees. One incident involved a white male coworker who, on a school bus equipped with cameras, grabbed my hand and placed it on his private area. Despite there being potential camera evidence to support the truth, I was immediately treated as the aggressor. Instead of being heard or given the benefit of the doubt, I was questioned harshly by HR and painted as a "lustful Black woman," while the men involved faced no real scrutiny. A second false accusation soon followed from another male employee, as if my character was already tarnished in their eyes. What hurt the most was the lack of fair investigation--no one took my side of the story seriously. I was left feeling humiliated, targeted, and unsupported. I share this not for pity, but to: * Bring awareness to how racial and gender biases can shape workplace investigations. * Encourage others who have been falsely accused to know they are not alone. * Call on institutions like Northside ISD to do better in protecting ALL employees and ensuring proper investigation before judgment. No one should have to carry the shame of false accusations without their voice being heard.

With all my timing there I was very impressed and more than anything thankful. If you have any kids that need to go to school make sure they come here. Northside is a very good district however it is a bit tough to get the best services with them but at least give them a chance to tell you what they can help you with and everything. With me being autistic I was given the advantage to do sports and try different things that most people aren't able to do or try. Whenever I graduated from here at this district I can't be more thankful and more proud of what I've accomplished since Day 1 from coming here. Now that I see my little brother graduating here in 2025, makes me more happy because I know he'll do great in life and everything. I'm just curious to see how it ends for him and all those that apart of Northside. Northside was definitely the best I've been apart of. I can't be more happier and thankful than I already am. I'm a graduate from 2022 that went to Harlan . Thanks again Northside and I can't wait to see everyone especially my brother graduate here.

There is a District gym with ALL the latest amenities in the East end of the school. However, the school has its own Main & Auxiliary gym in the middle. But noticed over the years, the teacher turnover rate was INSANE. (27 teachers total, left in 2024 alone and they don't even staff that many). Every couple weeks there seemed to be new teachers. My oldest moved to kinder this August and my youngest started. In August started the largest decline of a daycare I've ever seen, multiple teachers and the best director were fired and a new one replaced her. But with that, firings continued, one teacher was rehired (who had been previously fired for multiple reason, the largest being bullying children), CCS has been pulled, and there's maybe 5 or 6 classrooms actually being filled with children because so many parents have left (rightfully so). They're combining classrooms now because just as many teachers are leaving, so children don't have that consistency of the same teacher. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason I stay was because the absolute LOVE and endearment I had for Viridiana. She is an angel/ one-in-a-million teacher you find who actually loves and cares for the babies as her own. Everyday I dropped my child off, it felt as if I was leaving him with family and I knew my child was taken care of. Other than that, it's obvious that the teachers are overworked, understaffed and under appreciated. Do yourself a favor and look at the violations on this website, more than likely, the three teachers I observed who are having these major red flag issues are still there. https://childcare.hhs.texas.gov/Public/InspectionAndComplianceHistory?operationId=1487369

Im a single mom and this was a new STEM school I wanted my kid to have a better education, BIG MISTAKE!!! The school has Stranger walking around "fixing the school" but you can't walk YOUR KID to class before 730. You can only leave them at the door and hope they wall straight to class. the girls bathroom put their tissues lon the dirty floor and expects the girls to wipe with it. The teachers are always on their phones never paying attention to the children outside. My son was bullied by MULTIPLE STUDENT in his class and in their after school care (they allow all ages together and put them in a room until 630) one girl put my daughter finger in a pencil sharpener and cut her hand the teacher said NOTHING until I got there and she didn't clean it or put a bandaid on it. I brought up the incidents to the teachers and principal I was told we couldn't switch classes and slowly after that my children became targets. Every time my son tried to tell on the student (they pulled his hair called him names pushed him down) HE WAS PUNISHED; they made him move his clip and even put him in ISS even took his jacket on one of the coldest days in San Antonio (even tho other students were allowed to wear their jackets due to the weather). Their iss is CREAPY (He had to sit ALONE in the male principals office all day in the back of the school just him and this random man, mind you this is a new school we haven't known any of these teacher previously) that made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable, it felt like the principal was looking to put my son in iss for anything now, at our other school he was a star student; straight As NEVER been in trouble; thats why I wanted to challenge him with a STEM school but safe to say we're going back to our previous school and I'll be contacting the school board about this HORRIBLE schools practice. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEYtotthwt
