Some of the best Birria ever and we found it by accident on the way back from my son's orthodontist. Just tremendous birria (Mexican barbecued goat) - the taste was not crazy strong but just right. It was advertised as "by my mother-in-law's recipe" and it definitely was great. In addition the salsa, especially the peanut one (shown in the small bowl in the photo) was spicy and great. Our son loved his quesadillas as well. And if you don't know us, my wife is born and raised in Baja California, Mexico so she knows good birria! One of the guys there (the son in law) speaks fluent English so fear not fellow gringo! And 10 tacos, 2 quesadillas, and 2 Coke's plus six more tacos to go (other son loved those when we got back to San Diego) set us back a whole $15.50. You can pay in dollars but change is in pesos.

You can have them plain or with chicharrón, chorizo con papas, shredded beef, tinga, rajas or mushrooms. The best thing are the quesadillas. Freshly made and deep fried. The hot dog tasted great, unorthodox style as if a Polish dog was cut down the middle and fried on a flat grill. Crisp outer texture and clearly a good quality pork dog. They have chicken but went with the pork. I liked it. Second dog: (5*) Same flavorful bread and hot dog. Mushrooms and a chipotle sauce. This dog was EPIC. The flavor and consistency was excellent from start to finish! I totally recommend this dog, slightly better than the MEX dog. French Fries: these potatoes are like homemade steak Fries. Pre baked or boiled then cut and fried. Thick and hearty with some crisp, salt and pepper. Pretty good but better fresh. I had to take mine to go so I don't blame them for not being super crisp due to the steam in the Styrofoam to go tray. They serve Hamburgers but went for the Dogs. Bring cash. We ordered chilaquiles divorciados (1/2 green, 1/2 red) and machaca seca with the eggs in the side. The salsa was the right level of spicy and flavorful, and the hashbrowns made a nice bed for my over medium eggs. While the chef Marco has always been there, the service staff is different each time, but always friendly. Please be aware that this is a family restaurant, basically in their yard.
