I brought my car to Christian Brothers Automotive for a single issue. They performed an inspection…read moreand gave me a list of recommended repairs totaling over $3,200. Trusting their expertise, I approved about $2,000 of the work. I declined their "urgent" $538 rear brake pad replacement because shortly afterward, a dealership inspection found all four pads were at 7mm and healthy. When I questioned Christian Brothers about this, they only offered to "re-measure" them. They also overfilled my engine oil by about half an inch above the maximum mark on the dipstick. When I brought it back, they corrected it but initially told me the overfill was "fine." The biggest issue happened after I paid them $240 for a coolant flush. Before their coolant service, I had no check engine light or thermostat issue. 2 weeks after the flush, my check engine light came on with a thermostat-related code. I got a second opinion and was told to check the coolant level because an improperly performed flush can leave air trapped in the cooling system. When we opened the hood, the coolant reservoir was completely EMPTY. I brought it back to Christian Brothers and showed them the empty reservoir. Instead of investigating whether their coolant service had been done incorrectly, they argued that the engine had simply "used up" the coolant. They then told me the thermostat needed to be replaced and wanted to charge me over $500. I did not replace the thermostat. I demanded they complete the job properly and fill the coolant reservoir to the proper level. I have now driven the car for about a week and the check engine light has completely gone away and has NOT returned. So, in my experience, they performed a coolant flush, left the reservoir empty, a check engine light appeared afterward, and then they tried to charge me $500+ for a thermostat that did not need to be replaced. Correcting the coolant level resolved the problem. Christian Brothers is NOT a cheap shop. Their prices are extremely high for most services, while the quality of their work and accuracy of their diagnoses have repeatedly been terrible and incorrect. Wrong about the brake pads. Overfilled my oil. Performed a coolant flush that left the reservoir empty. Then tried to charge me for the resulting problem instead of correcting their own work. I have completely lost confidence in this shop. I would NEVER return and strongly recommend STAYING AWAY. Get a second opinion before approving any expensive or "urgent" repair they recommend.

Have to say I'm a little disappointed. I had a 1 pm appointment, checked in for 4 new tires. After being there about 1 hour and 15 minutes my wife called and said she was ready and how long it was going to take. All the desk people were busy so I walked outside to see how far my car was so I could let my wife know. To my surprise it was parked same spot I had parked when I had got there. So I asked for my keys and left. No apology or anything. I hope they get it figured out. Update: They called back and apologized and I should of communicated more as well but they got my car right in and are doing the tires as we speak. I just wanted to say thank you for the professionalism. When you open a new company there are growing pains. I apologize for my part of not communicating and they took responsibility for there part. I will definitely be back

I'm a warranty administrator supporting 15 dealerships across the Phoenix area, so I interact with repair shops daily. Unfortunately, I've come to expect average--or even poor--customer service in this industry. Isabel completely changed that expectation. From the first interaction, she was friendly, upbeat, and highly professional. More importantly, she knows her stuff. She provided a detailed, well-structured estimate that clearly outlined the complaint, cause, and correction--something I rarely see done this thoroughly. It wasn't just a generic recommendation; it was thoughtful, transparent, and easy to understand. Big Brand Tires truly has a standout employee in Isabel. I hope they recognize the value she brings. Highly recommend.

Southwest Auto Clinic - I love that they situated the lift so vehicles can be seen from their nice waiting lounge. They have nothing to hide. First class.

These guys are awesome. I was working on Prescott Valley last week when my brakes final went metal…read moreto metal. We reached out and they were able to get us in same day. We were given a reasonable quote to do all four brake and rotor sets but when the rears were inspected, they showed me and said there was no need to do the rears as they were in good shape. They knocked out the front quickly and got me back in the road to the valley. Friendly, honest, reliable. That's hard to find in an auto shop these days. I'd recommend this shop to anyone.

I called them this morning due to a very loud screeching noise that was coming from my front brakes. I was told to stop by this afternoon, which I did. Of course when I got there, the noise had stopped. Isn't that the way it always happens?! When I arrived, Jonathan greeted me outside, he listened to what the issue was and promptly pulled my vehicle in and put it on the lift. It was discovered that I picked up a rock that got caught in the rotor, resulting in the awful noise. No damage was done, fortunately. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the honesty. He charged me a more than fair rate for the diagnosis....nothing. I certainly wasn't expecting that. This is beyond amazing customer service. Since I was there, I decided to ask about getting a quote on a service another establishment told me that I needed to get done asap, which was quite costly and I wanted to get other quotes before committing. Well, he looked at the issue, did a test and it was determined that what I was told was not even needed (replacement of rear leaking struts). There was nothing leaking and it passed the "bounce test" with flying colors. Jonathan told me he wouldn't even quote it because it wasn't necessary work. Thank you Southwest Auto Clinic for your honesty. You have without a doubt earned out business. (the shop is super clean, comfortable inside waiting area, friendly employees).
