This was initially a Google Review . Action Auto Responded and this is my reply to their response…read more I can't do a review if i don't rate you at least one star! 0 would have been my actually rating! This might have been what you were you referring to in regards to your normal two step process that eventually became, the master mechanic was looking at the process the entire time. Normally, The two step process is as follows: Hand tightened lug nuts in a crisscross start shaped pattern. That seats the wheel evenly! that never happened. Then the torque at specs. You know as well as I do the mechanic never set the wheel properly. This idea of the experience mechanic watching does not make any sense. If he was watching, and he was not, that has no impact of physically putting the wheel back on! You write well an must have been a very good story teller in school. I give you an A for that story! You know as well as I do, that I did not travel over 5 thousand miles in one month. That would have been one long trip. So whoever logged those miles might be the same person who set the pressure on the torque! Not so good with math!!! Sir, I don't appreciate being called a liar!! The tow truck driver, who was supposed to tow the vehicle never did. I told you that was were the vehicle was going not was there. Where you made up me telling you was locked in a yard-- not!! The tow truck driver never showed up because he claims the truck he sent had to flat tires in the back. Action Auto was the main place I took my truck in 7 years, and you never told me to change the old bolts, so if you had a concern you should have told me. Specifically during the last time you did the job on my tire in May 2026. You make absolutely no sense! Additionally, you told me anytime you change or replace wheels it is a two step process. You told me you torque and then wrench it. Then you told me after I question the process on the video that the 2nd step was the Eric was standing right there the entire time. He did even look the direction of the mechanic the entire time. I don't want to go back and forth with you, but I will say your really lacked professionalism. If I was an owner of a shop and there was any possibility that my shop was the last shop to remove an replace a tire, and that wheel came off. I would have offered more than warrantied parts. However, you don't need to worry about me i am out- I really don't think you cared at all about me! The manner in which the vehicle wheel was put back on is in question! Plus your two step process you claimed was not done. Unless the Veteran mechanic looking away from the work an' a virtually set the wheel. He's good and I like him but he is not that good.

After being there about 1 hour and 15 minutes my wife called and said she was ready and how long it was going to take. All the desk people were busy so I walked outside to see how far my car was so I could let my wife know. To my surprise it was parked same spot I had parked when I had got there. So I asked for my keys and left. No apology or anything. I hope they get it figured out. Update: They called back and apologized and I should of communicated more as well but they got my car right in and are doing the tires as we speak. I just wanted to say thank you for the professionalism. When you open a new company there are growing pains. I apologize for my part of not communicating and they took responsibility for there part. I will definitely be back

I'm a warranty administrator supporting 15 dealerships across the Phoenix area, so I interact with repair shops daily. Unfortunately, I've come to expect average--or even poor--customer service in this industry. Isabel completely changed that expectation. From the first interaction, she was friendly, upbeat, and highly professional. More importantly, she knows her stuff. She provided a detailed, well-structured estimate that clearly outlined the complaint, cause, and correction--something I rarely see done this thoroughly. It wasn't just a generic recommendation; it was thoughtful, transparent, and easy to understand. Big Brand Tires truly has a standout employee in Isabel. I hope they recognize the value she brings. Highly recommend.

His shop was immaculate. Tools were organized, floor cleaned, no oil spills all the vehicles currently in his shop were strategically placed. The vibe in his shop was that of a true professional. He explained to us in detail the issues with our truck estimates were right on point. He kept in contact with us the entire time our truck was in his shop. When the necessary repairs were completed it was like driving a brand new truck. We so appreciate Glen and the care and professionalism he provided. If anyone should write a bad word about State 48 it's got to be a competitor because Glen is the man. Call State 48 Diesel repair first. You won't be sorry. Happy customer for life. S. Nichols.

Glenn is a lifesaver…read more Another shop in Chino Valley completely destroyed the engine in our 2013 Diesel F350 in Oct 2022. Then the mechanic charged us $16,000 for a new engine, after us already spending about $8,000 for work done improperly which ultimately caused the engine to freeze. He never delivered the engine. Led us on for months that the engine was back ordered and then he was working on it. He then closed up his shop and disappeared. Our truck had been moved to a different shop, had parts removed and was left in the snow with the hood up for two months. He was later arrested for fraud to the tune of over $200,000. We had moved to TX during this time. Finally, in March 2023, we found out where the truck was. I called around to various shops in town and Glen was the only one who would help. He went out to look at the truck to see if he could work on it, then we had it hauled to his shop. Glen put in a new engine, turbo etc, and completely replaced everything that had been removed or destroyed, which was almost everything. He saved our truck and our sanity. He kept us in the loop, sending pictures and taking to us regularly thru the process. He and his wife even loaned us their truck while we were in town and they cared for us like family. We only trust Glenn and his shop with our truck. We even drove the truck from TX to AZ just to have Glenn do an fuel system upgrade for better fuel mileage. Glenn keeps his shop cleaner than I've ever seen a shop. He's meticulous in how he works on a vehicle. You can't go wrong with State 48 Diesel.

We were given a reasonable quote to do all four brake and rotor sets but when the rears were inspected, they showed me and said there was no need to do the rears as they were in good shape. I called them this morning due to a very loud screeching noise that was coming from my front brakes. I was told to stop by this afternoon, which I did. Of course when I got there, the noise had stopped. Isn't that the way it always happens?! When I arrived, Jonathan greeted me outside, he listened to what the issue was and promptly pulled my vehicle in and put it on the lift. It was discovered that I picked up a rock that got caught in the rotor, resulting in the awful noise. No damage was done, fortunately. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the honesty. He charged me a more than fair rate for the diagnosis....nothing. I certainly wasn't expecting that. This is beyond amazing customer service. Since I was there, I decided to ask about getting a quote on a service another establishment told me that I needed to get done asap, which was quite costly and I wanted to get other quotes before committing. Well, he looked at the issue, did a test and it was determined that what I was told was not even needed (replacement of rear leaking struts). There was nothing leaking and it passed the "bounce test" with flying colors. Jonathan told me he wouldn't even quote it because it wasn't necessary work. Thank you Southwest Auto Clinic for your honesty. You have without a doubt earned out business. (the shop is super clean, comfortable inside waiting area, friendly employees).
