However recently lost my…read moreinsurance so I filled out the sliding scale forms, in office, back in October, before my insurance was discontinued Nov 1st. 4 weeks later my husband was told it was not submitted, so he fills it out the forms, again on office. 2 weeks later we receive a call and are informed the sliding scale again was not submitted, I gave up and told them to cancel all future appointments. I just got a call from a costumer service rep about an upcoming apt. She was very rude and hung up on me. Her "im calling to see if you are on your way to your appointment. " Me "no, I thought i cancelled all future appointments. " Her "no, you didn't. I guess I will notify the provider you are not coming". Me starting to say "sorry about that" as she hangs up. The lack of communication and poor interactions needs to improve.

I didn't hear back so called again, left another message but again, they never responded or returned my call. What kind of business claims they want to help, but refuses to call back? We wanted to have our teen have counseling and we wanted to do family counseling so it would have been a significant investment for us but we needed the help. Apparently, this company doesn't care when a family is in crisis since they cannon return calls.

I can speak directly and openly with no judgement (and sometimes I even get a laugh out of him.) Anyone who thinks he's dismissive or claims he said he can't help them obviously needs to do some introspection. If he said he can't help, I guarantee the entire statement was "I can't help you if you're unwilling to help yourself." Therapy is about wanting to be there and wanting to improve mental health. Anyone unwilling to face the ugly in their lives won't be successful in therapy, *regardless* of the therapist.
