My hand had been immobile for about six weeks after the surgery to let things heal properly. Since I play guitar this all scared the crap out of me. Patty worked me hard, but it was all in the interest of healing. I wouldn't have had it any other way. And I can still play guitar, thanks to the great work my therapist did. I hope you never need the kind of physical therapy I did, but this is the place to go if you have to.

It seems he was SO afraid of me he said he would never want to see me again! Question is, who do I lodge a formal complaint to about this Dr. For humiliation, accusing and lying this man did, or do I just got look for a lawyer?

When I did get through to someone and asked for a name, I was told they were not at liberty to say. When I asked why I was being forwarded to security I was told, because they Don't Like Your Questions. I got a call from the head of security who threatened to have me arrested if I called again, then hung up on me. You will be better served at another of the many hospitals in the area Coeur d Alene, Spokane Valley or Spokane. I also had 3 surgeries at Kootenai Medical and was given excellent care with all discharge practices clearly explained and followed. Good luck! ​

They have severe issues with staffing, competence. After her surgery she was brought to her room in uncontrollable pain. It appears the nerve block that was administered did not take, and The CRNA failed to inform the surgeon. He was also directed to perform a block after the surgery. He did not. I asked the staff for the next 5 hours to bring in a doctor or anesthesiologist. This never happened. It was only when I went to the nurses station and told them to prepare her to leave AMA, and I would be calling an ambulance to pick her up, did I finally get some help. Before leaving, the Doctor called in a prescription pain relief to Walgreens. When we arrived there, the pharmacist told me he couldn't fill narcotics with in 24hrs. It was very fortunate that I had recently had surgery and had pain medication with me. We also cancelled additional surgeries because of poor treatment with pain management , and staffing concerns. I would never have a procedure there again. I later had a procedure at another facility, and My wife later had 2 other surgeries at Holy Family. OMG, what a difference. She received the very best care, and actually left the hospital laughing. I would not recommend this campus to anyone considering a surgical procedure.

My brother was deaf and unable to respond to questions, but everyone in the Rehab Hospital treated him with kindness and respect. The office actually saw my profile and knew who I was when I called....and... they fit me in that day, even though their schedule was full. I was seen by Matt (NP), and he was thorough, direct, and personable. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed that medicine was actually geared towards, me, the patient, and my comfort...not satisfying the limiting insurance rules, or waiting 8 hours in urgent care for something that should take 1 hour, at most. She assured me that Hospice of Spokane was available 24/7 for any questions or assistance I might need. The medical equipment supplier was prompt and efficient, ensuring my father had everything he needed to be comfortable at home. It was a blessing to see how quickly and smoothly everything came together. This support helped me prepare for what I knew was inevitable. The nursing staff, Crickett and Mary, were invaluable. Their care, compassion, and thorough explanations on how to manage my father's needs exceeded my expectations. I never had to worry about reaching out for help--everything I needed was delivered immediately, and the support was truly outstanding, as well as many others I never met behind the scenes. When my father passed, Hospice of Spokane handled the arrangements with the funeral home, easing the burden during this difficult time. Their care made an incredibly tough moment just a little easier to bear.
