The trail on the border was not the sturdiest path, with large rocks protruding from the dirt and warning signs posted to "enter at your own risk". But I was still able to get a good run in while exploring the park, extending to the neighborhood since, again, the park is small. There were several porta potties on site, as well as a parking lot for convenience. Such a carefree and relaxing atmosphere, with the adorable shops and eateries of Big Basin Way just around the corner.

Walking is the most under rated exercise ever yet, all you need is your sneakers and trousers, and apple watch/fitbit to count your steps. This park is huge compared to the one that close to my house. Also, if you walk around the loop you would see a bridge and will connect to the other park across the highway. My kids were elated to find another park across the highway since the park in the original Kevin Moran Park was quite small for them. The whole experience was nice, we found two share and give book drawers, where people put books inside and free for public to take. Parking is on the street, but since this park is a neighborhood park, there's always parking spots available.

The pickleball courts are right next to the bbq's and tables and that's all you will hear. The noise pads that were suppose to dampen the sound actually made the court louder and bolder. The sound is not covered on top only on the sides and have been poorly installed. The residents that live near the court are pissed because all you can hear is the pickleball noise inside their homes. You can't go outside without having a headache now. Soccer, volleyball, baseball, and other sports do not penetrate into your home! Pickleball does even with all the doors and windows shut in your home. Not enough is being done to litigate sound reduction. There quality of life has juristically changed for many residents and people who come to the park daily. We sat closer to the bathrooms, so far enough away from the playground. If you're going to sit on the grass just be careful about not sitting in geese poop. They have several areas where they keep picnic tables. You might just want to bring a wet rag or something to clean off the space. If you're looking for entertainment for the kids, you can take a mini train ride throughout the park. On weekends they have the snack bar open. They sell candy, soda pop, hamburgers and hot dogs. Never had anything there but in case you came to the park and decided to stay a little longer, then there's food available. They keep the park relatively clean. Plenty of garbage cans so no littering. There's a beautiful creek that is close to the park.
