Coming here is like being welcome into the chef's family. Anytime I've wanted to share a truly memorable experience with family and people special to me, I try to bring them here. This is what you should expect: You arrive at this old-school house on the chef's family estate/farm. The chef's father welcomes you and sits down with you while you receive your welcome appetizers and cocktails. The father chats with you a bit about the history of the estate, etc. The chef is busy in the back preparing course after course of simply amazing dishes. With every course, the chef comes out and explains what you're about to eat, often telling you where he found the ingredients (a nearby farm for example). After dessert, comes time to sit down and sip on some local coffee. All this as you see the sun start to set, the local wildlife start to sing, and you start to wonder if you really ever need to leave. Sorry for the 'cheesy' review but this place is truly an experience. A tasting menu like this anywhere in the states would cost you $300-400. Look them up elsewhere for more reviews and background, it won't disappoint!

There is a main central area with tables and then pockets of enclaves along both sides. We were seated in one of those enclaves that had four tables for four and unfortunately a large round table in the center. I don't think it was because I'm getting old. I know I get easily annoyed by bad acoustics but this was another level of noise. There was a group of women celebrating a bride for her bachelorette. She made sure we all knew how special she was by screaming and screeching to get her friends' attention the entire night. A couple who were seated after us immediately moved. Yes we had a chance to do the same but we decided to stick it through because we thought they were almost done. Well they stayed until we were at our dessert course. So why 5 stars?? Because the service (and attention and acknowledgement) and the food were outstanding. Easily the best choice to celebrate our friend's birthday. Everything was delicious but what the chef does with white beans was especially incredible! Ending with the passion fruit trilogy was perfection!

They were pretty good for starters. Then ordered some tacos, they have a big menu for tacos so I asked the waitress what she recommends. She told me the Mongolian tacos. Oh man the meat was so juicy and well marinated, mixed with its own sauce and veggies. I've never had tacos like these before ever. We both loved them! Fyi they do come in 3 and are huge! Then ordered the Duck. The meat was so soft and tender it cut really easily plus really moist. Then we ordered the ahi tuna salad. The sauce on the salad was so good and addicting the tuna was really yum. Everything here was good! We kept talking about how everything was made perfect and still had left overs.
