I love working out here for a few reasons…read more 1. I always get a free treadmill when I work out. 2. The high tech, touchscreen treadmills have cable; so I can watch ESPN with subtitles while I'm listening to a podcast and running. 3. The employees are friendly. 4. The bathrooms are clean. 5. Dylan, the personal trainer is encouraging. And his classes are challenging and effective. Why it doesn't get the final star... 1. It's a mini-YMCA, attached to an elementary school, which severely limits the availability of the gymnasium. During school hours, it's closed. During summer camp hours, it's closed. Sad. I wish I could practice my J during the day. 2. No pool. 3. No racket ball courts. 4. The bathrooms are limited. Three solo unisex bathrooms. a) Two have a shower. b) One is handicapped shower; and, with a flat ground entrance, that floor is always sloppy.

Review to warn other parents of the horrible condition of childcare…read more We entrusted our son into the care of the ymca, only to find out that a negligent teacher was taking them outside to "work on her car", when she wasn't too wrapped up in her phone playing candy crush. As it turns out, our child was neglected while in their care for an entire year, and rather than the "staff" taking ownership and getting to the bottom of the matter, they chose to ignore me. When they did finally respond (half-assed) it was to deny the entire situation. Placing your child in this "loving environment" is a joke and something I wish we never did. Wanting reimbursement for the severe negligence suffered at their hands was a joke. I am still waiting for them to email me back (I imagine I'll be waiting forever) You would be better off having your child stay alone, as you certainly do not get the care you're promised.
