this is my garage floor less then 2 years after they did the job . the floor is peeling and fading and is very rough and has no gloss at all i only have one car and rarely use garage . They came back once fade the first month as same issues were present then floor still had issues after they said they fixed (reluctantly as they claimed their guarantee doesn't include wear and tear but what wear and tear it was a month of hardly any use .(again one small car and a bike and no traffic once a day car comes in and out thats it ) they finally gave a small refund not offering to fix however now it will have to cost me 3500 to have another company fix as they said they have to start from scratch this company should come back and make it right even with the small refund but they refuse no one I know who has had this done ever had holes occur or fading if company makes right i will update but with their attitude i doubt that will happen or they should refund the full amount so i can have another company start from scratch read more

First of all, you are making a huge mistake if you use ANYONE else to do your epoxy chip garage floor. My Tuxedo floor is exceptional, and James has been doing them for years so the chances of a problem are as low as can be reasonably expected. The floor is unbelievable, absolutely the best i have ever seen. Wow!! Nathan came out to my home, and had no difficulties ascertaining the exact layout for my garage that would maximize storage space. As is customary, he left to design and bid out the cost and emailed the proposal to me. This takes a few days. You will receive a very well prepared and illustrated proposal, very clear on what they will be doing so there is no problems. All that matters with any company that we, the consumer, cares about is the quality of work, fair pricing and that the company insures your satisfaction in the end. All of these concerns are five star with Garage Makeover, as i learned when a simple miscommunication on cabinet door color was rectified by Nathan. I am very confident that you will be very happy with the results of your job, but be prepared to wait for cabinets to be delivered. However, it is worth it, these are not Home Depot junk, but extremely well built and solid cabinets that are of excellent quality. Perfectly installed too. These guys are skilled installers. Overall, this is a must use company, just knowing that they will do everything to insure your satisfaction is all you need to know. The guys work hard too, it is a good group of professionals. The quality of work was amazing. This is my fourth home and I've had the flooring done with other companies in the past. This is easily better than any other floor I've had so far, and so much better than the handyman installation we did on the first home. The difference is night and day. They weren't the cheapest quote we got, but they were the most professional and did a better job than any other installer I've seen so far. My next door neighbor went with a franchise company for their garage and it doesnt look anywhere near as good as this one. Plus these guys are a family business so i'm glad to support a local family. I couldn't be more disappointed with this company. I contracted for garage cabinets and an epoxy floor. The quality and workmanship of the cabinets was poor, even after several attempts to correct mistakes. Now, after one year, there are tire stains on my garage floor which cannot be removed with any remedies I've tried. I do not recommend this company! read more

Just want to say how pleased we are with our new Garage Floor Makeover. James and his helper were here on time and in no time at all our floor was done. They came back two days later to help replace a heavy item we couldn't move ourselves and were extremely careful not to damage the floor. This is a two part review. Part 1. I originally had our garage completely made over 3 years ago, epoxy floor, walls painted and cabinets installed. We were 100% satisfied. When our garage door is open we have had neighbors walk by and compliment us on how nice our garage looks. Part 2. Now 3 years later a small part of our epoxy came up, and we were shocked as we were told it would last a lifetime. I called Garage Makeovers and Jorge came out and took a look. He explained it can happen from moisture coming up underneath the garage and no problem, they will repair it. Today, James came and did an AMAZING job repairing the damaged portion and even took care of the apron between the epoxy and our driveway to make it all look uniform. We feel the real test of a company is whether or not they stand behind their product. Garage Makeovers was paid in full 3 years ago, but continue to stand behind their product. 5 gold stars in our book! read more

While I loved the way my garage floor looked right after it was completed, I'm very unhappy with the warranty service. First it is very hard to get anyone to come back for repairs. Their contract states Lifetime Adhesion Warranty. This is not so. We have an area that keeps coming up. They have tried to repair it, but it keeps coming up. It's only this one area. Now they are claiming that it is something under our garage; a leaking pipe. This just isn't correct. While it is just this one area, there is nothing leaking under our foundation or it would be affecting other areas as well. It's directly below the tire of one of our cars, therefore they should be able to fix it and have it remain fixed. Very disappointed with their customer service. Think twice before using this company. read more

The epoxy flooring looks great as well as cabinet. Unfortunately, had some issues with the guys painting the apron in front of my garage. Had some small spills on my pavers and the paint will not wash out. Also, one of the guys cleaned their equipment on the side of my house and left chunks of plaster in my yard. Final product good but workers a little messy. read more

JUST ANOTHER CONTRACTOR THAT WONT SHOW UP!!! they came to give me estimate and was told that I would get a call back with a confirmation of everything. NEVER DID! I have called and texted several times with no response back! If they were not interested or too busy they could have just said that so I could move on!! with so much competition out there I just don't understand why they risk the bad review. Not to mention that I wasn't impressed by their products either. If they treat their possible clients this way I would hate to see the actual client treatment. read more

I'm not one to write a negative review about a contractor/vendor but I believe it is important to share our negative experience with Garage Makeover and their work with the epoxy Garage Floor. Nathan and his company came recommended to us from other Neighbors. When we hired them (December) the start time was between 8-9 am. They didn't show until close to noon because of some sort of scheduling mishap. They took a lunch break They finished the job (2 car Garage) about 6:00. Right away we noticed some dull spots and divots and the workers said that would even out when dried. We didn't use the garage for 5 days (told only needed to wait 3). The Floor does not look clean or even. Nathan came to look a couple of months ago and said to just clean it with water. As this is our vacation home we aren't here that often. This visit we used a scrub brush and are still unable to clean the floor. It is rough, dirty, uneven and has dull spots. Again we had Nathan here. He blames the air, the gardeners, my sneakers as well as "I don't know what you bring in here!" He took some water, got on his hands and knees and scrubbed and said see? I said the spots are still there. With that, he said "well I've done this for 12 years and 1500 of your neighbors like my work and I've done all I can" and he left. I'm sure that many people that used Garage Makeover are still satisfied with the work. I'm also aware that good companies can occasionally do a bad job. My issue is that Nathan will not address the issue or take responsibility (rushed job) or rectify the inferior work. Buyer beware! read more

They did epoxy flooring on my garage floor some months back however there was an issue with them not putting proper amount of sealant in the corner and as a result the flakes came off when pressure washed. I approached management however they refused to fulfill their warranty agreement and the owner or manager Nathan used derogatory language in his reply to my concerns. They refused to correct the issue I would therefore not recommend using this company. read more
