David did call, and, after hearing my problem, he said he would drive to my home on Friday to see what he could find wrong with my Camaro SS. Sandi & Joe showed up well before noon. Joe plugged in his high-tech malfunction analyzer. The indication was a continuous misfire on the #7 cylinder. I replaced the coil, the plug, and I checked the wire for resistance. There seems to be a deeper issue so, I called Sandi again and she told me to call on Monday morning to see when I can have the car towed up to the shop. When they left my house on Friday, I asked how much I owed them for driving down and checking the car. Sandi said, "No charge". WOW! I'm hoping to get the car up to them today or tomorrow. More to follow......but how many shops, anywhere, spend valuable time and then say, "No charge"? Thank you, guys.

I'm in Texas btw. All of the reviews were good but one said this place is a hidden gem. That caught my attention and I recommended this place to my son. Robert Tau Auto Service got right to work, was able to diagnose the problem and get the part installed in just a couple of hours at a very reasonable price. A hidden gem indeed. Highly recommended.

Knocking a star off because there are cheaper options for an oil change for my car. A newer model (2024) and I paid around $100* for an oil and filter change (plus labor) at this location.

Instead, I was charged $125 for what felt like a basic OBD scan (same P0846 code I had already gotten for free at O'Reilly Auto Parts). I called for an update and the call was disconnected, would not be shocked if they hung up on me since I was very firm on the he call. They had told me they would call me back, but never did. No way should they have needed to keep my car overnight; I dropped it off in the morning and was told I'd get an estimate later that day, yet I only got the same vague "you need a new transmission" answer the next day. They quoted $4k-$6k for a replacement CVT without providing the live data, freeze-frame data, or proof I requested. I was shown a jar of dark fluid with metal debris, but there was no confirmation it was from my car. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed to put it mildly. This was more about selling a transmission replacement than giving me the thorough CVT diagnostic I paid for. I would not recommend this shop.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with Sandy Sansing Chevrolet has been…read moreextremely disappointing. I spent months searching for a Ford Expedition and worked with a salesperson throughout the day to complete most of the paperwork remotely because I didn't want to spend hours at the dealership. When I arrived, I was told the Expedition we had been discussing had actually been sold days earlier, even though I had been led to believe it was still available. Rather than leave after wasting my trip, I decided to give the dealership another chance because I had done business with Sandy Sansing before. I ended up purchasing a 2018 Ford Expedition Max Platinum that had been transferred from another Sandy Sansing dealership. By this point it was late, the dealership was close to closing, and I felt pressured to complete the purchase that evening rather than come back the next day. I requested the Carfax but was never given a copy to review. It was only quickly scrolled through on a computer. My test drive was also limited because the vehicle only had about two miles of fuel remaining. The dealership's own inspection report stated, "Has multiple minor oil leaks, wet but not dripping yet." I was simply told it had a few minor oil leaks. Within days of purchasing the vehicle, I received a low oil pressure warning, and an independent inspection at Firestone determined the leak was coming from the timing cover with an estimated repair cost of approximately $3,000. When I contacted my salesperson, instead of directing me back to the dealership's service department, I was repeatedly told to contact a mechanic he knew by the nickname "Sheriff." The only assistance the dealership offered was a vehicle detail because it had not even been cleaned before delivery. Other issues I discovered shortly after purchase included concerns with the air conditioning after I was told it just needed refrigerant, an intermittent running board issue, a rear washer that doesn't work, a detached rear defroster connection, and brakes that feel unusually soft even though the inspection report indicates the brakes and rotors were serviced before the sale. I also had concerns during the finance process. While I was still reviewing the electronic paperwork, the finance documents were submitted before I felt I had finished reading everything. That left me very uncomfortable. To add to the frustration, I was told I couldn't reuse my Florida license plate because it was over 10 years old, but the DMV later told me it was still valid. I also still haven't received my Arizona plate from my trade-in and continue receiving payment reminders from my previous lender because I have not yet received confirmation that my trade-in loan has been paid off. I understand that used vehicles, especially those sold as-is, can have problems. My disappointment is not simply that repairs are needed. It is the overall experience, the lack of transparency, the way concerns were handled after the sale, and the feeling that customer service ended once the paperwork was signed. I hope Sandy Sansing Chevrolet reviews this experience and works with me toward a fair resolution. At this point, I cannot recommend purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership based on my experience.

Sandy Sansing Chevrolet's BDC representative, Summer Anoai, contacted me on May 7th by text and…read moreemail in response to my request for trade-in value on my 2016 F-150. The email stated they were "excited to offer a firm price" on my 2016 F‑150 and encouraged me to bring the truck in for an in‑person appraisal to "get the most accurate trade value." The email also included a link to an online estimate range of $16,797-$19,469. I scheduled an appointment and met with a salesperson (Tory/Torie) on Monday, May 11th at 10:00 a.m. for the appraisal. After inspecting the truck, I was told the value was $9,000-$10,000, with the comment that they "could give more if I was trading." When I mentioned the $19,000 figure from the email I had received, the reaction made it clear that the in‑person offer did not align with the dealership's own written estimate or online valuation tools. The in‑person offer was less than half of the estimate range provided to me beforehand, which created a bait‑and‑switch effect for anyone relying on the dealership's stated "firm price" and online valuation tools. My experience was that the in‑person appraisal did not match the expectations set by the dealership's own communication. I want to note that I previously had a very positive experience with John Nudo at Sandy Sansing, which makes the discrepancy in this visit stand out even more.

My battery was left loose and moving as I drove home and a huge stain of some sort of fluid on the engine fan shroud cover. All this after they kept my Jeep for a full week and I paid almost $1,200 for it. Less than 90 days later I saw the first leak ever, so I went back to find out what was wrong and it was the thermostat. They wanted almost $300 or more to replace it, when it would've only been an extra $50 - $100 if one of the 3 ASE Certified Mechanics had thought about it, or was it a way to be sure I would bring it back and pay more money? I do not recommend taking any chances with this repair shop. They used to be all about the Customers but now it is all about the billing.
