This past year my personal physician and a wonderful doctor at that office retired. I called to renew a longtime blood pressure prescription, but they said they had no record of it and my new doctor was not in that day. Two days later I called the pharmacy and they still did not have the prescription. I called the doctor again and the woman said she had called it in and it was obvious she was not pleased and insinuated that I was lying. I informed her that it had been a week without the meds and I was not pleased. A few days later I received a certified letter "Notification of Discharge" informing me that she would no longer provide medical care for me and to find a new doctor. Instead of trying to resolve the problem and take care of a long-time patient, they discharged me! Very unprofessional! I would not recommend this practice to anyone!

The office closes from noon to 1pm for lunch and opens promptly. The waiting room has the usual ton of magazines. I got a bill for 100 from the pathologist. Booked the surgery soon. Dr Chen has good bedside manner and the physician assistant and receptionist were great too. Surgery was quick and easy. No pain. He did a great stitch job. I had this done September 11 2020 and everything has healed up fine. Surgery cost was 400 bucks so total cost was 600.

Dr. Weiss is my PCP and provides excellent care and counsel. Also, I have always had a nice office experience and good staff interactions. The only negatives I could think of would be the walls between rooms are kind of thin. You cannot really hear conversations or make out what is being said, but you can still hear people next door. The only other thing is that office scale. The scale and I have different opinions on how much I weigh, but it is probably right. The office and facilities are always clean, and there is plenty of parking in the shared lot.

I recently had a condition where it was necessary to be seen ASAP - the office staff did their magic and I had an appointment the next day! Last month I had a horrible experience with a specialist - I was rushed through and he gave "rudeness" a new name. I was so grateful to follow up with REFM - Dr. Bloor listened and made sure any questions were answered before I left. I can always count on a big smile and warm greeting from the front office staff - they are outstanding! I have referred friends and family to this practice. Kudos to REFM - keep up the stellar work!
