Despite not locating the pants I was looking for, I did spy some other items that would be good for my 4 year old. The prices are right and the quality is not too bad. He's a Carter's kid through and through since birth. But I would buy some items here that I don't want to necessarily shell out money for such as when he's going through one of his growth spurts. Or say I need something for him to wear a handful of times before it's no longer useful. Then I'll come in and purchase. They also seemed to have warm hats and gloves and scarves. A RUDE black woman was the cashier there; she was average built, short cropped hair, had an accent, and was tall for a woman. My receipt said the cashier was "GARY", so not sure if that is just the default name or what. I dont know if she was having a bad day or what, but she was very NASTY to me, staring me down, and seemed like she was being theatrical and wanting to make a scene. I asked her if a coat was $12.99 because it had two price stickers over the original price tag. She tells me, "If you want a calculator you can add this all up yourself." I asked her why she's being so rude for, I'm just asking her a question - she tries to blame me for being rude and accused me of treating her like she was stupid. How did she get offended by me asking a legitimate question about a price of an item!? This person should be fired immediately because I doubt someone like that has just a one-time mishap. If she doesn't want to interact with customers, she should find another job! Also, this is not the only discounted children's clothing store in Ridgewood - Myrtle Ave. is lined with them all up and down the avenue on both sides!
