GAP is an "American Size" store, so most of the time, the dresses don't exactly fit well. It's rare that they do, for me at least. But I do love their shorts for the summer and their long sleeve basics. This is a smaller store than the location in Central. I also like that they have a return policy, which is nice since stores in HK don't believe in the return policy. =P

Bottomline: the linens department boasts the best sheets and room scents in the universe, and my aforementioned cosmetics department.

It appears to have the same stuff and is marketed the same in the layout of the store, with the one exception that this store is all on one floor versus being on two floors in Hong Kong. Great clothes that are structured, timeless, a great price point and with the exception of anything made from merino wool (I dont buy merino wool, because I dont like how it can snag), all of the fabrics from COS have washed really well and retained their shape with little worry. Don't be alarmed when you arrive here and think you're at the wrong place because it looks more like an office building than a place to buy athletic gear. Hop in the elevator and you will eventually reach Aumnie's tiny Mongkok showroom. The place is pretty no frills and you'll try on your serene tank, spin bra or sharp short in a tent (and rely on a pal to drag the mirror over to said tent so you can see yourself). I found the fit of their form fitting tanks lacking and their pants just okay but I wear the looser fitting pulse singlet often and like it quite a bit. I won't be rushing back to Aumnie but it's worth a look if you're after activewear with a unique look (just make sure to try everything on)!

I wear their clothing for long haul travel because they are as comfortable as silk pajamas and on flights over 6 hours, being comfortable for me is key. For any of you long-haul travelers, I would encourage you to check their stuff out. This airport retail outpost is located at the top of the intra-terminal tram. Take it to the Gate 40 stop, go up the long escalator and look to your 11 o'clock for the store front. The sales gals are friendly and welcoming and the 2 things of note here are that they sell a local style, comfy brand shirt with "Hong Kong" imprinted on it which you will not find in any other store. They also have a wall of travel tags listing all of the International Airport destination codes to put on your purchase indicating where you are going and that you originated from HKG. Kind of a cool marketing play. I can't argue with the comfortable, high quality active wear that comes from this brand. I logged over 175,000 flight miles in their clothing last year and it has not failed me yet. Seeing this airport store was a neat little comfort find far from home.

There's a reason why the crowds aren't piling into this mall, there really isn't that much to see here. There used to be a nice coffee shop upstairs that I enjoyed going to, that was the only place where I didn't have to fit off 10 people for a table, however since the coffee shop closed, I never really set foot there anymore. There's nothing to see, the shops are overflowing with mainland Chinese (namely Louis Vuitton and Chanel). It kind of defeats the purpose of going into a shopping mall. I believe they went through a bit of renovations a few years ago, possibly a rebranding exercise, I don't see much difference. I think they could possibly do a little better positioning the mall. The shops itself are decent, just for some reason, they haven't managed to bring the right crowds.
