With not one but TWO conferences coming up, I needed some new pieces to help me show up looking and feeling my best. So after seeing them on TikTok, I decided to check out Curv Exchange and see what all the hype was about. Let me tell y'all... they did not disappoint. As a plus-size shopper, finding stylish options that actually fit well can be a challenge. But I walked out with four shirts, some sunglasses, and even picked up a gift for someone else. The selection was great, the prices were reasonable, and the customer service was AMAZING. A huge thank you to the team at Curv Exchange on North Dale Mabry. From helping me find pieces for my upcoming conferences to making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, the experience was top-tier. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help me find what worked best for me. Y'all know I love supporting businesses that create an inclusive shopping experience, and this one definitely delivered. Now your girl is conference-ready and feeling confident. Google review and Yelp review coming soon because great customer service deserves recognition! It's Just How Life Goes.

In typical fashion, I waited last minute--I'm talking, 5:45 PM on the eve of the ball and the store was getting ready to close at 6. I really hated to be one of those ones but the girls there Gracie and Jesstalyn were absolutely accommodating the entire time. I skimmed through the racks tried on a couple of good ones that were gorgeous but weren't the right fit. I then asked if I can try the one off the mannequin and...it fit like a glove! I literally felt like Pretty Woman, hold the pimpin. The dress was gorgeous; I paired it with silver and had a ball at the ball! I DEFINITELY recommend Curv Exchange. AND I got $5, there's a rewards program, a men's plus section and a maternity store.

At one point, Lisa told her helper "you might need to go to the bank for me." Then, after the three of us had a lengthy conversation about traffic on Hwy 19, Lisa reached into the cash register and handed me $40. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor by paying me $40 for at least 23 items!! Last Spring, I took about 12 items in and she paid me $45 When I browsed through the shop, I saw one blouse with a $29 price tag on it. I wish I had kept my items and donated them to my church thrift store. I will not go back, and I do not recommend the resale shop to anyone.

As far as product, they have a good selection. But if you buy anything on a sale; and try to return only one item, You will have to pay full price for the other item. It cancels out the sale.

I came here one weekend and found some great deals and was super happy with my experience. Even some Goodwill stores have higher prices and Tampa Thrift seems a little more boutique style then it is true thrift so you just have to come in with that mindset, or don't come if you don't like it. What I like that they do here is a lot of big sales. Each day there's a specific tag color that's 50% off, and this is where I found some really great pick ups. They also have one weekend each month where the whole store is 50% off, which is super cool and probably the main time I'll come back. I thought the store was fairly clean overall. They do have a couple dressing rooms if you prefer to try stuff on, and a bathroom. As with most thrift stores, there's at least twice as many women's clothing options then men's. But as a woman I was impressed with the selection and range of brands they had here. They had a good selection of blazers, not only for men but specifically women's too- I found a super nice one almost brand new for $10. There were quite a few shoes as well- sneakers and sandals and in between, I snatched a cute lil pair of heels for like $7. Another nice thing, they had a lot of kids stuff here. I've found at most thrift stores it just depends if they have kids items, especially clothing but they had a whole section here for kids clothes, as well as toys and stuff. I was happy with my visit here and will definitely be back.

I honestly found so many things I wanted to buy and I'll have to come back with my daughter to show her some things too. I had to try REALLY hard not to cave in and buy a whole bunch of Halloween decor- which they already had displayed and it was torturing me!!! I loved at least a dozen different items! It is right next to Old Navy and soon Five Below will be next to it. This Bealls Outlet appears to be smaller than other locations. I feel like they cramped a lot of stuff into it and is not as organized especially being a brand new location. I have also been to Bealls Outlet - Home Centric in Brandon. They have two locations there. Compared to those locations, these definitely have less area to spread out. I wish they had more space instead of cramping all that they have together. I can see it getting messy in the future. The clothes on the hangers we noticed you can tell look so wrinkly and just right out of the box. I didn't get an excited feeling leaving this new store. Maybe in the future it will be better when they are open longer. We shall see. For now, it is nice to have more variety in the area. I think the old Bealls Outlet will close soon if it hasn't already. I did see a closing sign on it.
