Ganesha Handicrafts is a hippy haven nestled in the cosy confines of Morgan Arcade; I flock to shops like these, so I'm happy to see another one crop up in our fair city.
The wall hangings are something of a marvel, patch worked from old sarees and priced at a reasonable £45. The main draw for me, however, is the varied selection of silver and beaded jewellery, with enough on display to suit all styles and budgets.
The dark wooden staircase descends to the lower ground floor where the rest of the clothing is displayed, and although it lacks the charm of the upstairs, there is still a wide selection of dresses and hoodies to be had.
The shop assistant was friendly and helpful, encouraging a hearty browse without being too pushy.
