Goose Island reminds me of a holiday gift shop in the Caribbean - with racks of flowing dresses protruding from a tiki hut overhang, beaded jewellery in an assortment of colours and sizes, and red mosaic pots peppered throughout.
I like browsing this shop, even if I don't have a forthcoming beach holiday booked - it's just that sort of place. I usually just browse the home goods, because, honestly, how often can you wear a maxi dress in Welsh weather?
If you're not in the market for dresses and accessories, Goose Island offers a range of knick knacks like trinket boxes, Buddahs, and laterns that would add a bit of non-IKEA flamboyance to any bohemian home.
If you can't make it to the Cowbridge area, Goose Island products are available to buy on their website, where you can also find more information on Goose Island parties, a shindig where you and three or more of your friends get together to "'take a gander' at the exciting range of distinctive Goose Island merchandise on offer". read more
