Favorite dish combinations for me were: Chicken sizzler with sweet saffron rice Balti chicken with lemon rice Tika Marsala with lemon rice Chicken palak spinach with white rice Also as I later discovered, they do a freshly squeezed orange juice which is just what the doctor ordered! I ordered chicken tikka masala (but had them make it spicy), daal, and samosas with garlic naan and picked lime. One caveat about the garlic naan--it doesn't really taste like naan (it's not fluffy and thick). It's a little greasy and more like a tortilla or roti but it was delicious. If you want naan, then don't order this. If you want a tasty bread type dish to accompany your curry, this did the trick. The samosas were good, but nothing to write home about. The star really was the spicy chicken tikka masala but the daal was a close second. I would definitely eat here again and make an effort to actually go into the restaurant.

The chicken korma was also very well prepared with a nicely seasoned and well balanced sauce. The Indian tea was also very nice. Overall it was a pleasant experience, the food was good as well as the service. One thing that surprised me that I don't always appreciate in restaurants was the art. The artist, whom I have never heard of before, is Robert Mainka and his art was very whimsical and full of interesting symbolism. The whole experience at Mandala was very nice.
