Ordered basic dum-aloo with lachha paratha and zeera rice and honestly I was not disappointed. This makes me believe, their non-vegetarian must be good too. Relatively small place with good service. Would recommend if one is craving for Indian food in Warsaw Central area.

Australia. Best sushi? Colorado, and while Namaste India wasn't the best Indian food I've ever had, it was truly excellent. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Well, yes, there was one drawback, but it's honestly not something I can necessarily hold against Namaste India. On the particular Saturday that I walked through NI's doors during a long stay in Warsaw, it was a relatively warm 80* F+. Hot? Not necessarily, but considering Namaste India doesn't have air conditioning, sitting inside was nearly unbearable, and without any room outside, I really didn't have a choice. Outside of that however, service was fast and friendly. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Admittedly, I threw a bit of a fit when I saw the prices for everything I ordered. Have a look: http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Ap7Ihs5qMpKPqO4s0MQxvQ&userid=OKX-V5j_qfuOebeHeWGrHg 49 polish zlots? That's $16 US! Pretty steep I initially thought, but this was truly a massive portion surely intended to feed two. That being the case, $8 isn't bad at all for a good Indian meal. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? As I mentioned, while this wasn't the best Indian I've ever had, my Chicken Vindaloo was very, very good with only a few exceptions - Bread: Alright, so the garlic naan was weak. Too thin, inconsistently seasoned, and lacking the light and fluffy but moist element that really makes naan worth it Rice: The rice? It was okay. Cooked well, but pretty standard Chicken Vindaloo: Alas, this is where the meal shined. Moist chicken, fiery but flavorful sauce, and a consistency that mixed brilliantly with the rice and naan. Excellent. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Again, not the best Indian I've had in the world, but without question the best in the city of Warsaw. Namaste India deserves four. Star Granted.

After doing a quick order online, I waited patiently for about an hour and got the phone call my food arrived. I eagerly went to the lobby, paid, took it back to the room and cracked open the back and the aroma lofted out and put a huge smile across my face. I had ordered chicken tikka masala and naan which came with jasmine rice. It was a hefty portion for one and the price was very affordable including delivery. They never asked me for a spice level which most places do so this was concerning at first, but when I took that first bite, it was a perfect spice. Not too spicy and definitely not to bland. This will go down as one of my favorite Indian restaurants and by far my favorite in Warsaw.

As far as north Indian food goes, this is probably the most authentic Indian food I've tasted outside of India. The owner of the restaurant has some great taste. I loved the decor! The people were very friendly and the service..super fast. That really comes in handy when you are out dining with a 14 month old. We ordered 'angarey tikki' for the appetizer. We were warned that it would be spicy but we thought how spicy can it be. After all, it is an Indian restaurant that caters to westerners. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. Mind you, in this restaurant..spicy means just that..spicy. The palak paneer was AMAZING! It's been a while since I've had palak paneer that great. The naan was soft and yummy. So good that I finished a whole naan (which is so not like me). So glad we decided to give this one a try.

I tried the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. I am surprised that these were too sweet and not spicy enough compared to my experience of homemade Indian dishes. I asked to add more chili but of course it's not the same when the spice is cooked in the sauce. The dishes were good with the lemon rice (my favorite) and garlic naan! I would eat here again but maybe try other dishes that their chefs specialize in. The servers were nice and speak good english. The place was clean and plays bollywood music. Not too good for a large group (8++) as their isn't much space inside. Overall, I would come back and eat here again (if I come to Warsaw again)

We ordered 3 meals, butter chicken, tikka masala chicken and chicken pasanda. Also I had saffron pulao which is my favorite type of rice to have with curry. Unfortunately not many places in Warsaw have it. I did enjoy my meal but it is not the best curry I had, still very nice and tasty and prices are relatively low comparing with other places. The place is quite small so it will not be suitable for big groups, and it is not a place for a romantic date either. Still worth visiting :)
