The prices are very attractive specially that the rice is included in the given price. When you order you get a small portion of a snack to enjoy while you wait for your order. The shakshuka was also great, but a bit different from what I typically have in the US. This tomato sauce was slightly sweeter, and there was no cheese. I liked that it came in a smaller size and that I got to enjoy a bunch of side dishes as well. I enjoyed this meal on a sunny morning and overall it was super zen.

The mezze boards are a great way to try out a bunch of different items, and the Neve Tzedek came with 6 mini falafels, muhammara (a walnut and red pepper paste), black olives with rosemary, couscous, and three different kinds of vegetables: cumin-spiced Moroccan carrots, marinated beets, and marinated radishes. The board also came with chewy pita bread and two different kinds of sauces: a mustard aioli and a mango-chipotle sauce. I also added a ramekin of hummus to this board, which was super creamy and perfect for dipping with the falafels and pita! Next, I tried the shakshuka with "meat," a tomato and pepper stew topped with imitation gyros, tofu-feta, red onions, and tahini. Both the mezze board and shakshuka were tasty dishes, though relatively expensive for the portion sizes. Nevertheless, this made for a fun option for a healthy meal!

My suggestion would be picking up service a little and offering spice level options on the ramen bowls. A bit more customer wariness would be appreciated. We wanted spicy but were told there was no option to change our orders at all. I also told the waitress I didn't want sprouts and she brought it with sprouts anyways.
