Well, yes, there was one drawback, but it's honestly not something I can necessarily hold against Namaste India. On the particular Saturday that I walked through NI's doors during a long stay in Warsaw, it was a relatively warm 80* F+. Hot? Not necessarily, but considering Namaste India doesn't have air conditioning, sitting inside was nearly unbearable, and without any room outside, I really didn't have a choice. Outside of that however, service was fast and friendly. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Admittedly, I threw a bit of a fit when I saw the prices for everything I ordered. As I mentioned, while this wasn't the best Indian I've ever had, my Chicken Vindaloo was very, very good with only a few exceptions - Bread: Alright, so the garlic naan was weak. Too thin, inconsistently seasoned, and lacking the light and fluffy but moist element that really makes naan worth it Rice: The rice? It was okay. Cooked well, but pretty standard Chicken Vindaloo: Alas, this is where the meal shined. Moist chicken, fiery but flavorful sauce, and a consistency that mixed brilliantly with the rice and naan. Excellent. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Again, not the best Indian I've had in the world, but without question the best in the city of Warsaw. Namaste India deserves four. Star Granted.

I eagerly went to the lobby, paid, took it back to the room and cracked open the back and the aroma lofted out and put a huge smile across my face. I had ordered chicken tikka masala and naan which came with jasmine rice. It was a hefty portion for one and the price was very affordable including delivery. They never asked me for a spice level which most places do so this was concerning at first, but when I took that first bite, it was a perfect spice. Not too spicy and definitely not to bland. This will go down as one of my favorite Indian restaurants and by far my favorite in Warsaw.

Favorite dish combinations for me were: Chicken sizzler with sweet saffron rice Balti chicken with lemon rice Tika Marsala with lemon rice Chicken palak spinach with white rice Also as I later discovered, they do a freshly squeezed orange juice which is just what the doctor ordered! One caveat about the garlic naan--it doesn't really taste like naan (it's not fluffy and thick). It's a little greasy and more like a tortilla or roti but it was delicious. If you want naan, then don't order this. If you want a tasty bread type dish to accompany your curry, this did the trick. The samosas were good, but nothing to write home about. The star really was the spicy chicken tikka masala but the daal was a close second. I would definitely eat here again and make an effort to actually go into the restaurant.
