May 2025 my husband called in the payment Ricardo took the payment and said Congratulations and discusses pink slip three weeks later at 2AM my doorbell is ringing and there is a man in fatigues claimed to have a court order to pick up my car. We could have paid but still wanted to address the weirdo we get a call from corporate who was frankly embarrassed and said 1 they do not do court orders and 2 it costs at least 3,000 for this process for $39.00 corporate waived the fee and said because this is the 2nd car purchased through Ganas they don't want to lose our business and what we were thinking about purchasing another car we said now, that our oldest is soon to be 16. We were told to check out what we like and let them know to get a deal going. It was Friday we see a car take down the details and made an appt with the dealership on Monday called corporate they said great they would send notice. We arrive for the appt the car is in the back and told was set on hold for us but management is saying who's so and so and wanted to get a deal going and were like wait a minute we were told the down payment details etc. would be sent by corporate they claimed this message was never received we called corporate and no answer we had $1,000 cash the dealership was asking $3,000 we said we needed to think about it they said they'd take $1,000 cash and the other $1,000 electronically and the last tacked on the payment and were pushy about it we were kind of iffy Thank GOD! cause next day we get a call from someone saying the car was sold Thursday in El Monte we said BS I sat in the car Friday in San Fernando and saw it Monday again in San Fernando and told was set aside for us the gentleman said no it was purchased by another party so had we obliged the dealer and went in on the deal we would be back at square 1 with someone at our door getting the car back that belongs to someone else. We call corporate and told yes the car was sold we expressed how bad record keeping is and how this could have been very bad selling us a car that belonged to someone else. He promised to find the same car right away and get a deal going we've called, text and received zero responseThis is a poor way to not have us take our business elsewhere or not lose our business after they claimed they did not want to lose us as customers. VERY alarming but 2 days after this review we get a call trying to get a deal going to again wait for follow thru when they say they'll call us back and don't During the waiting period the same car I was looking at that was sold I get a call from a lady at the dealership asking how I am liking my new car i told her you're asking how I'm liking a car I did not buy because it was sold to someone else? She says no this car is still available I hung up on her Finally I get the pink slip to my car and certificate for $ amount to purchase a new car. But was told earlier I need to put $3,000 down to buy a car while my certificate says no money down. I ignore this and get a call this past weekend again to pay $3,000 bring up the certificate clearly in writing says no money down and can walk out with a car I was looking at in the first place that is in the price range of the certificate but this person on the phone is SAYING otherwise. When setting up my payments, the worker who helped me said I could split my monthly payment into TWO, so it will seem easier. LIED, they are CHARGING ME THE FULL AMOUNT TWICE A MONTH. When I asked them if I could go over once a month, they said my payment would go up?!! How about if I saw the price of my car note BEFORE even agreeing to do it twice a month? DO NOT purchase a car here... these people are scammers and are running some kind of scheme... when I purchased a car from here back in March, I was led to believe that the car had no mechanical issues, and there was only one key... both red flags... I also drove the car with shot brakes which they didn't want to take care of, they rushed me into purchasing the vehicle which I now wish I would've just said fuck it, take it... So allow me to get to what happened, my car was stolen two days ago... the people who stole my car KNEW exactly where TWO trackers were on this car and they also stole it without braking the window and without it being suspicious enough for anyone to call the police... My cars two trackers were both disabled and there's no evidence that a car was stolen to begin with.. broken glass etc.. now I called this office and I was told by the worker that ONLY GANAS knows where these trackers are and that "if" there was an extra key this stores manager is the ONLY person who has that info... hmmm ok... I dig deeper and called Hyundai the makers of my car.. they said, that it's EXTREMELY odd that trackers were placed on my car (even with the bs repo excuse) because usually only Lyft, Uber, etc... uses trackers... I was told by the police who took my report (two different officers) that whomever stole my car was a professional because otherwise how would they know where to find these trackers and quick enough to disable them... hmmm The insurance company also told me that it's odd that ganas accepts NO responsibility... I messaged the guy who sold me the car and he was acting very fishy.. he won't return my calls or message anymore. So I've come to the conclusion that GANAS is working with crooks and they're doing a scheme where they're stealing cars from the buyers because they know how to do it... I also believe due to there being no glass or physical evidence, they either towed my car (and made it look like a repossession) or they had the spare key and took my car. Either way, don't trust this company. I'm going to be reporting them and having an investigation done on these people. They're trying to cover up their tracks by saying it could've been repo'd however; cops check this so they're not filing false reports.... You have to be current in order to report your car stolen. I have two cars with this company. I should have learned the first time around. The fact that they NEVER fixed the issues I told them about when I got my first car, and now they say my warranty is expired so I have to pay out of pocket. They NEVER contacted me about the two claims I made. The company is shady! The fact that my little cousin was able to get a car with my name and I was not even there to sign any documents tells me they only care for the money. They require to take it in to El Monte. And a call back now having trouble with insurance I have my own full coverage with AAA. Okay, these terrible people had my review removed because it wasn't specific enough of a customer experience. Well, my experience was so bad I never became a customer because they're a rip off operation. Here is my PERSONAL experience: I was looking for a used car. While on Facebook, I saw a number of used car ads posted by a Ganas Auto employee in the FB Marketplace. The ads had low prices on cars. When I contacted the employee, she would not give me any information about the cars. She said I had to visit the dealership. I thought this was strange so I called the dealership to get questions before wasting my time driving over there. They refused to answer any questions about prices of cars and said I had to come to the dealership and talk to them. Because the apparently low prices, I drove over to the dealership. When I got there 20 minutes before opening time, I walked around the lot. The cars that were advertised for cheap were mostly there and in seemingly great condition but no pricing information anywhere on the car. At that point I realized that the low prices being advertised on Facebook Marketplace was a downpayment, even though it clearly stated that it was the cost of the car. The cars themselves were MUCH higher. On my phone calls to the company, their people were very defensive and hostile. The employee removed all the bogus ads from Facebook once I pointed it out what they were doing. It's apparent that they lure in people - mostly Spanish-speaking folks - with the bogus price which is actually a downpayment and then give different people different prices depending on what they can get. Bought a car there because they accept bad credit. Point is the assistant manager showed up the car yet she did not know anything about it. I asked about the button from the trunk if it worked or how and she did not know. Besides that we bought the car because we really needed one. When my husband picked up the car he noticed that the drivers side was 1.missing the sun visor 2.the lights from inside did not turn on. 3.the button to close the trunk does not work. 4.when my husband opened the hood he noticed there was a piece in a place it was not supposed to be. 5.there was pieces of glass in the back seats on the ground 6.the passenger side light from the door at the bottom is broken plus does not turn on. 7.the rotors on the car are rusty and their mechanic admitted to cutting it because they are allowed to do that.
