For my 1100th review, I am going to write about my amazing experience at Level One Bar+ Arcade!…read more I promised my brother a surprise during our trip to Columbus, OH if he passed his insurance agents license. He passed, so I took him to Level One Bar+ Arcade. I did it to have some brother bonding time. Its been years since either one of us had stepped into an arcade and really spent hours playing in one. Some of our fondest memories together occurred while playing video games and in video arcades. Thus, it was wonderful to relive those moments together and create new memories at another video arcade. Really cool place, ambience definitely is a cool classical arcade that just happens to have a bar inside. Tons of games here! You can find all the classics, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, etc. Talk about memories... i remember playing Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat at arcades when I was in grade school. I got go relive memories when I played X-Men the Arcade Game, a game I beat at an arcade when I was in middle school. The only disappointment was with Rampage. I jumped for joy when I saw it! I loved playing as either George, Ralph, or Lizzie as gigantic monsters devouring the worlds population and destroying cities when i was younger! Alas! It was not operable! My years away from playing video games showed my rusty skills. I used to be a beast in games, i did alright but man have my skills deteriorated since college. Again, we played for hours, and had a great time together. We did not spend a lot of money, all non-pinball games are free. We also did play some pinball games like The Walking Dead, and You Only Live Twice. Level One Bar+ Arcade made our last night in Columbus, a wonderful night. I definitely recommend coming here!

One of my favorite places ever. Good games and great drinks. My favorite is the princess peachread more

We ordered pretzels and nachos for apps. They have a happy hour that goes from 5-7p so we took advantage of that. They run a lot of game and food combos which is what the family chose to do. My half rack of ribs were fantastic. I would compare it to upscale bar food. Our server seemed relatively new. She had a hard time with the IPad and taking our orders. My wife tried ordering an Aperol Spritz which was on the menu but had some ingredients to asked not to be part of the drink, and she brought out a glass of just Aperol. The manager stopped by our table and we walked away with a free appetizer and a complimentary 100 chips, which was very kind. All in all, I don't have any complaints. The games were all fun. There were a lot of interactive and multiplayer games which was a lot of fun for the family. Do yourself a favor and take your family to Dave & Buster's the next time you're looking for something fun to do with the whole family!

The bar was sticky, no table was cleared. So disgusting. Gross. Deplorable. The food was awful. When it finally did come they informed us what I ordered wasn't available. I've never experienced anything like this. They were unapologetic. Shut it down, Columbus.

Finally made it. Baby K had mentioned arcades, and we happened to be nearby. It's huge, with…read moreseveral sections (and the missing lamented hot dog area in the middle, soon to be something else?) Small bowling alleys, pinball, and our target, video games. Bars in each area, and apparently food available though we didn't see anyone eating mid-afternoon on a weekend. And the cost? Nothing. Sure, they want you to have a beer and order other stuff, but they are not pushy about it. I asked at the bar how to get change for the games, and he said "just push start, they're free." We played a lot. Many nostalgic games for me, and Baby K liked Pacman and Defender. A wide variety, and there was always something open. I imagine at peak times you have to wait, but no issues, again mid-afternoon on a weekend, warm spring day. I was thirsty and bored, so got a drink. Ginger ale. No charge. I did tip, but seriously, we were there an hour and could have walked out without spending a penny. We'll definitely be back.

They have wall-to-wall arcade games, that are completely free-play, and a handful of other activities (big "beer" pong, a ring toss game, a giant LightBrite...) to keep the fun going and going and going... We checked this place out with kids in the afternoon and then returned as just adults that night. To be honest, it can get crowded and therefore was more fun without the kids (b/c the drinks started flowing...) but either way everyone will have a great time. If you want a spot that checks A LOT of fun boxes then check this one out. It's connected to Pins too so you basically get a two-for-one deal!

They have a nice full bar with plenty of good beers in cans, bottles and draft. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. It was a little busy but I never had to wait long to order. The deli has a really nice selection of sandwiches. I ordered the large Reuben which was around $14. It was so good I got a second sandwich. The guy working the deli counter also was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place itself had plenty of seating and was quite clean. Definitely a perfect spot to stop in Dayton to get a delicious sandwich and a refreshing beverage. They also had signs posted allowing kids during the day which is perfect - they can play the old school arcade games while you wait for your food! Highly recommend!

There was a great selection of local beers on draft plus a larger selection of cans and a few cocktail specials. There also a deli that made some damn good food. I absolutely recommend and would visit again if I am in the area. The food came out fresh and the service was great. Out bartender was super cool. It seemed like they had a motto of being nice, which is a great addition.
