I was sorely mistaken. They offered me $90 for a console that they will turn around and sell for ~$300. They claimed they were doing me a favor by giving me 10 whole dollars (!!!) more than GameStop was offering.... Regardless they'll be making a $200 profit off of my sorry ass. The employee claimed they'd only sell it for $150 but me, not being a total dumbass, pointed toward the base version switches they are selling for $250 and questioned why they'd sell a superior version of the same console for less... The employee got noticeably nervous and just kept repeating that his boss wouldn't let him change the price. (Massive eye roll). I was scammed. The only reason I took the deal was because I needed grocery money. Hope they feel good about extorting locals. This was my first time ever doing business with them and it's most certainly my last.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, even knowledgeable. The manager is down to earth and enthusiastic to help. I'm not commenting on the company policies (which is a whole 'nother debate) but rather the store experience and I think this is one of the better ones out there. Many other branches have employees that regard you as a criminal or someone that's out to get them. For example.. I'll never put another foot in the Williston branch ever again. One time I went there and the manager sold me a pair of used joystick grips and when I politely went back inside to ask for a refund/replacement, he told me it was my fault for buying it :) Oh boy, good times... I bought a trade paperback, a reprint floppy and a monthly issue of a new series. The tpb shelves were packed too tight in some places so there were pressure points on some of the books.
