Never open, phone goes unanswered, hours of operation are a LIE, might as well just be permanently closed

Walked in there to return a pair of headphones cause they was garbage .and worked like crap and the woman behind the counter was very rude . I can see that this store has very bad customer service , and you get told oh you be able to return it and as soon as I was expecting a refund I then get told nope can't help yeah so I said seriously took the item back as walking out said loud enough too in the garbage it goes and I made sure she heard me and saw that it went straight in the trash ! I've been to many Gamestops throughout my entire life, I've experienced them all. This is the only branch that I can truly say is the most pleasant one to visit. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, even knowledgeable. The manager is down to earth and enthusiastic to help. I'm not commenting on the company policies (which is a whole 'nother debate) but rather the store experience and I think this is one of the better ones out there. Many other branches have employees that regard you as a criminal or someone that's out to get them. For example.. I'll never put another foot in the Williston branch ever again. One time I went there and the manager sold me a pair of used joystick grips and when I politely went back inside to ask for a refund/replacement, he told me it was my fault for buying it :) Oh boy, good times... I can say that'd never happen at this South Burlington branch so I will always be bringing my business to this one. Keep it up! read more

Service horrible went to go pick up a game I preordered 3 day early access said it wasn't in when I was told by someone else it was an it wasn't a good time to look through the inventory when they had all day to do it like really come on now. I called corporate 5 times and talked to them and they said they would handle it so thank god. read more

I used to LOVE gamestop... Service: When I started shopping here as a kid years ago the service was AWESOME! They hired other people who would play games. Talk to you about the games you are playing and even recommend something that was similar to what you are currently playing or looking for. Whats different today you walk into the store and they attack ya! With pre-order this! And HERE SUB TO OUR MAG! Its a damn failure nowa days! THis is what happens when corp America takes you over. Its sad! Go back 5-6 years and the store was pretty good for local shopping. So now I ask my self...Why the hell go here when I can go to Best buy and just walk in and get what I what?..The answer is sadly nothing...Best buy seems to be the best answer for local games and media needs. Price: Here is another issue with this place. Why would you offer a used game for only $5.00 less than a new one? Its at its best when the NEW game is cheaper than a USED game...Figure that one out. Seems to me Gamestop needs to get this in order. Again its not as good as it used to be. Makes me cry inside at night when I try too sleep. If you cant get the pricing right then you Haven no hope..... Location: This is the only thing this store has going for it. A big store front! Alot of space. Its to bad its wasted with over priced games and pricing that just needs tp be wiped and re-done. Over all: Sadly Id stay clear of this Gamestop. I mean hell just stay clear of ANY Gamestop. No need to support places that are only interested in taking your money and not even giving a good service. This is where turning back the hands of time would be wonderful! This place was nice. It's your typical game store. I've gone here for years and never had huge issues. I'm not a huge gamer. I go in every now and then for the occasional game fix. I usually go for the used games which they have a fair selection of. I had a return for a defective game last week and they seemed very helpful and understanding. Thought that I would give GameStop at the U-Mall a 2nd chance. I did not think that the customer service could get any worse...but it did. There was one person working the counter with 20 people in line. The manager(?) came out from back said something to the cashier and then went back to his office. Waited 15 minutes with no line movement and then left. Walked over to FYE, found the game I was looking for, and was out of the store in less than two minutes. GameStop owners are to blame for the sad customer service. Here's a clue, hire a sufficient number of people to run the store. Stop trying to save a buck and not give anything back to the customer. I will not give my $$ to GameStop anymore when there are other places who staff their stores with employees to meet the customer need. Get it together GameStop, before all of your customers leave. read more

Every time I walk in the door I am greeted with a smile and a cheerful hello! Everyone there knows my name and what game I like. They take the time to talk about the newest Pokemon game with me and give me their honest opinions on video game features instead of trying to push a sale. When I trade in a video game they make sure I get the most bang for my buck! I have never had a problem here and I frequently visit. It is my favorite place to go to chat about games! read more

I love gamestop been going there forever. Now it is my kids turn. People at this location seem to care about who they are helping. They could have more people on but that is cop. Amarica. I went in last week and my son had his allowance and he wanted to go buy titanfall for the 360 they treated him like an adult. Looked into if his Xbox would run it the asked if I was ok with him buying it. All in all it was a good trip. The location. Makes it convenient b/c of the other stores as the trip as mainly to go to sears. Sears at this location is a mess. read more

Went into this Game stop today to pick up a game that a friends son preordered. He was unable to pick it up last night because they no longer take checks (who does that) and when I went to pick it up today, they would not give it to me because we do not have the same last name. My son pre-ordered his on Amazon.com and it arrived at our door the day of release. No more game stop! read more
